We just got the same call from this guy, looking for a co-worker, good to know who he is in case he calls back, he makes his self sound big and tough, put he is such al false.

Basically the same M.O.-called me looking for my daughter saying he was a DMV Investigator and a warrant was going to be issued for her, if she did not relinquish her vehicle.  She had already worked out a repayment plan with the bank.  Major Scam!!!!

They called claiming to be the tax assesors inquirring about property taxes, when in fact they are a car repos collection company. They will lie and harrass anyone they can.

He left a message looking for someone saying it was "Detective Peterson" and they were looking for someone that might go to prison for 5 years.  Totally tried to make it sound like he was law enforcement and to call him before they deployed city police or the US Marshal!  Said he will "stand by"- like cops talk like that.

this car does not belongs to me but my daughter who does not stay with us.he alos call her work and her friends saying the same thing

They're calling them because you owe them money retards, this is not harassment, this is them getting what you failed to pay for. All you're doing is digging deeper holes and then b****ing about how the bank and the state are bad guys when in reality, the two of you are idiots with your money or lazy useless f***s.

Got a call from this number. They said they would serve me with papers through law enforcement (writ of replevin...???) Or surrender my truck back to the bank because I had it hid from the repo man. The man said I could surrender it or the court would make me surrender it. I got the papers served on me at my work. I failed to got to my court hearing. A bench warrant for my arrest was issued...I got pulled over for not coming to a complete stop...Then got arrested for the failur to appear...Court order me to give back my truck or get locked up for five years...then there was $3,000.00 fine in fees...looking for another cheap truck...these banks are ruthless...unfair I think.

This guy has not called me or my husband, but my mother and father.  Claims he is with the county sheriff and it is about our car which we are late on payments with.  Then he called my husbands work, and claimed he was an attorney and needed my husband to call him ASAP, it was an urgent matter and he needed to take care of it today.  My husband's boss was really pissed about it.  My husband tried twice to call him back, but all he got was a message saying their office is very busy with incoming calls.  No name of business or the man's name, nothing.  He has yet to call back.

Wow, that's what they said they would do to me.  I don't even have the vehicle, I co-signed for someone (a family member).

So great to see these postings.  I just got a call from the same number and a guy was saying all of the stuff I am reading on this page.  Not only that he called my home and questioned my 12 year old son.  He told me he was calling from Austin and was with the Texas DMV and had a lot of threathing talk going on.

I went to court with this company. This company is a national company that sends out law enforcement to enforce court orders nationally.
I was served with a writ of replevin (spelling?)(something to do with concealed property) by the sheriff and had to go to court. The judge order me to surrender my truck or get locked up. Lost my truck... need another one. I was told i was guilty of defrauding a secured creditor. Can't these banks give anyone a break?

yes i had that same number call my mother and he was saying the same things to her but he told her he was from TX DMV and told her a bunch of crap and was asking alot of question tell her in business he didnt know she was family and aint it agasist the law to tell someone other then u ur business.

Received a call from a guy claiming to a investigator with the Florida DMV looking for a friend of mine.  Wanted information on him.  When I was skeptical he called me back from a phone number that was for the customer service center of the Florida DMV however the number he gave me was a different number.  A 800 number.  When I called it back it was a very generic message.  I'm thinking a bill collector and when I confirm, I am contacting the State of Florida and telling them that this person is identifying himself as a peace officer. He went on about theft charges and having the local police and other law enforcement agencies looking for this person.  Not true! Law Enforcement does not get involved with civil cases. If anyone else gets this number please pass on information.
