Got a call from the number and  I answered. They immediately asked me for my birth date and address for varification purposes. I told them that I would not furnish the information.She stated that it was HBCS and were there to help debt reduction. If I dont answer will give my name and number to debt collection office and they will come to me.  I said forget it and dont even call me.Period..

Just received call from this number on my cell phone.  It is the fifth time they  called in two weeks.  I don't answer and they never leave a message.

I have also  received calls from this number on my landline phone.

received a call from this number and when I answered there was no reply to my hello.We have been receiving harassing phone calls from truckers and town personnel for a few years and just assume that this may be from one of them.

This number belongs to a collection agency.  Many of them will use tactics like this...they will ask for your name, address and phone number for verification purposes and won't tell you who they are until you give them that information.  I don't even answer it.  Eventually they'll give up on calling.

Same thing here,just got a call from that number this afternoon...I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message...Glad I didn't pick up now.

i have been getting calls from this number and they stated that there is an impending lawsuit with US bank against me. the funny thing is they have my maiden name and my bank, and phone number right but the address and social security number they have is wrong. I told them on several occassions that that wasn't me and they insisted on this " unsolved matter". the last time they called me I told them this was harrassment and I will be contacting my lawyer they said they will file this account as fraudulent and erase the file. I'm a little worried cus I gave them my last 4 digits of my social to pull up the file and see it wasn't me, but i husband said i shouldn't even have done that cus now they can play the old "bait and switch" and  possible add it to my credit report. I'm contacting my lawyer anyway and i guess i have to wait to see what happens. Do not give this company ANY information!

they just keep calling like 5 times a day but do not leave a message and of course i do not answer when i see that number

I just got a prepaid phone (Gophone) which number nobody knew and guess what? The first call I received was from this company  HBCS. Never give any personal info. over the phone to whom does not know you or you dont know them.  It is a big scam. ****** scam scam scam scam scam********

I just got a call from them... but I didn't pick up. As far as I know, I do not owe any medical bills! I know which hospitals I've been to in the past few years (2 in the past 10yrs!) and if I had an outstanding bill, I'd get it from the hospital itself... I hate these people!!

The law already disallows these calls to cell phones. In any case, don't just trust a number someone posts on a web site. Verify it by going to the FTC web site. ftc.gov

If they're skip tracing someone's sister, then they are not legit.

i get this # and when i redialed it asked me for an account number...i know for sure i dont owe anyone anything and bills are all paid on time....this must have happened with verizon customers since i had this number for a very long while with att!

Hi how do you block the number with what caller id software?  is it on your cell phone?

I just called them back, they claim to be looking for a person and hadd my number .
I think it could be from a hospital who employs them to collect money.

They just called me and asked for my ssn and told me I owed them a lot of $
I told them that I was 14 and never borrowed anything.
they pressed on, and I hung up. they were very rude. I blocked them

They called me and asked me to confirm date of birth or last 4 of social but she wouldnt tell me what is she calling me for, I said you must be crazy if you think I would give you that info without you telling me who you are, she wouldnt so I told her to go f... herself

I recieved several calls from this number, and it was starting to piss me off, so eventually I called them back and it really didn't take that long to put me through to some woman on the line.  They were looking for an Elizabeth which I have discovered was the person who was using my cell number before I took it.  I told them this and the lady was actually very polite and apologized and said that they didn't know and would stop calling me.  Lets see if she was telling the truth.

Yea they have called me too.I told them even if it is a true bill who cares,the way our economy is nobdy gives a f*** about their credit rating and she can stick it straight up her azz!There was no reply after i said that.

This is a Collection agency, and there working with the hospital to delever a faudulent bill.The hospital over charges, and the dumb people keeep paying the insurence companies, and  insurance companies are in on it to.they get defrauded by the hospitals,then they defraud there policy holders by not auditiing the bills,and defraud there stock holders by not  auditing the bills .

  On fox news they told the hole story.

thank you. i feel it is horrible as well. my insurance through college was horrible to ask to pay up. the hospital never bothered to ensure my contact information which had changed. they continually placed calls to a disconnected phone number for four months and then automatically sent the bill to hsbc. hsbc also called that number repeatedly though they got the message that the number had been disconnected. to make matters worse they and the hospital sent notices to someone else in my family to a mailing address that is NOT mine. in my eyes this was not proper notice and thus i should be able to fight the fact that this bill is now ruining my credit report. had the hospital bothered to find out why their contact information for me was incorrect, and sought my actual phone number or address, they would not have had to send my bill to collections. i would have been able to set up a payment plan and the amount would be paid off. furthermore, i had updated my info twice in clinic before the whole mess happened and apparently that information never made it into the system because it is now two years later and the customer service rep at the hospital has JUST changed the info for me. don't get me started on the SECOND round of this mess with another unpaid bill due to their poorly kept patient records, the second round being directly after having made the info switch in clinic. my insurance company only accepts claim forms and did not report to me any amounts i owed the hospital above what they covered (measley 80%). i had no way of knowing that i owed the hospital anything at all. i am thoroughly disgusted by my hospital's system, customer relationship management, and both as well of the hsbc organization. how dare you cause me all of this hardship because you are inefficient at organization? how dare you call me constantly trying to collect a debt that you allowed to ruin my credit report?

i'm fighting this whole situation right now, i refuse to pay a debt that ruined my credit when i could have paid it off immediately. i had no notice. organizations need to spend some of the money they get from 50 dollar ER tylenol to implement effective CRM systems.

It is PAAN (Patient Acct Access Number) for "Hospital Billing Collection Services" (HBCS). I called spoke to a man. wanted me to give him the number there service called when I did he said my name and asked if that was me.. I said yes.. he then said my childs name and wanted me to verify her DOB..when I did he told me it was a debt from a hospital stay she had  and the name of my insurance company, how much they paid, and was calling for me to pay the remaining balance. He Tried to get me to pay over the phone (as they always do) but i told him to send me a bill cause I had moved and I want it in writing. (I will be sending a copy to my insurance company to validate how much they paid because she should have been fully covered)
