Received a call today at 1:10 pm from 866-529-5884 and subsequent voice mail message from a Karen Waters indicating she was looking for location information and that I should return her call at 800-345-3045 ext. 4055, using reference number 8963264.  No mention of who she was looking for or what company she was calling from which I believe are both violations of the Fair Credit Act.

Susan Patrick left a message on my voicemail on 12/26 inquiring into the whereabouts of a "Tamara Douglas."  Ms Patrick asked that I return her call to 800-345-3045, Ext 4074, Reference #28191277.  I decided to call to tell her to stop harassing me.  The "phone tree" identifies the company as "ARS".  I called three times(!)  Kept getting put on hold and never reaching anyone.  I don't see why I should be wasting my time.  I continue to be harassed by a legion of collection agencies because of this woman!  Just because both our first names start with a "T" it doesn't make us the same person.

Erica Jackson called two days ago attempting to collect a debt.  On my caller ID the call originated from 1-904-548-3089.  If I needed to contact her I should call her at 1-800-345-3045 ext 4029.

Got a call from Justin Young looking for [male name] and said if I was not that person to hang up (lol). He said he was from ARS and to call him PRIVATELY at 800-345-3045.

I just received a call from a local number 508 882-8079. I do not answer calls unless I recognize the number, so I let it go to voicemail. A woman said her name was Samantha Michaels and she was trying to find location information and used my full name. She did not say what company she was working for or why she would be trying to locate me. That to says this can't be legitimate. She left the same number to call back that everyone else has been given 1 800-345-3045 and gave me extension 4008 with a reference number. I'm cautious enough to know not to call someone I don't know who doesn't state what company they work for and what business that company has with me. If you don't know who's calling always look the number up just in case.

My dad received a phone call from 1 800 345 3045 from a Stephanie asking for me by my maiden name. They left extension 4086 to call back. It was a message that concerned my dad because it threatened that things could and would be held against him.

I got  a call from Lisa Smith that left her ext 4119. The call  show up unavailable. She didn't say a company name or what the call was about, she just left a return number and her ext.

Someone named Pam wanted to know the whereabouts of my daughter and gave a file number to reference.

I got a call from ARS looking to talk to my mother in law.  They had my number and her name so I called them removed my number and gave them hers.  I have really good credit. Want my advice? Quit complaining about bill collectors pay your freaking bill so they don't turn you in to a collection agency. Don't buy it if you have no intention of paying for it.

Heather Brooks called and she said she was from the IRS National Services, funny when does the IRS work on Saturday's and call people.  Saved voice recording and will be in touch with the IRS on Monday, this is illegal.

Rich peterson called, said he was from "ARF" lef the 800 No. and reference to a file file No. The phone they called to was a friend's, and I lived there briefly three years ago. It would be nice to know how they found that.

I have been getting calls from a Rick from 800-345-3045 X4128 with a reference number. However I've gotten a million other calls from a confirmed scamming place and am scared this is the same thing. Does anyone know? These people are weird, why don't they just send something in the mail if that is the case?! HELP...

Got a call from this number at 10am. Saying this is IRS or ARS. to give them a call back. They called from a 559-316-0283 number and to call back the 800-345-2045.

3-28-11 noise talking in background, end of march or first part of April got a call, person saying, my name is Carol-call is for Latyra Lampkin-spelling? case # 22293516 call # 800-345-3045 ext. 4074    on 4-28-11 female caller said hold for this call, i stopped message on machine about one hour later, another call this is Carol call is for Latyra Lampkin-spelling?   Debt or Prank/Scam?

Got a call today absolutely hilarious .... Some Jamaican or trini guy calling saying his name is Martin and has a great offer but will not say any more as to what it's about. Said for me to call h back at 1800-345-3045. Ext 4098

The are ruthless!! They work for Macy's as a collector. Sick people. And it is ARS not IRS!!!!!!!

I'd like to find an app that will call the 800 number once a minute for the next year.  They have to pay for the 800 call, it's just like calling collect and it could really add up to screw them.  Anybody know how to do it?

Received a call from a 734- area code--which is a local number.  They asked for my husband but they were calling my cell phone.  I took a message and got this info:  800-345-3045 x4104.   I was surprised that they made it look like a local number, yet, they don't have offices in this region.  (Yes, I looked it up).

Husband received a voice message on his cell phone, he does not live in the US but on a military base. Later he received a text message and forwarded me the text message, this was three weeks. I live in the US. I called the number pretending to be the sister, the company is ARS National Services. They wanted to get ahold of me explaining that this is a personal call and and would need permission, from my sister.  My husband has received too many phone calls. I had google the number to find out that this was a scam. Then I had called the ARS Associaed REceover Sytstms, a division of the ARS National Servics, Inc and spoke with a customer service today to informed them that their company with the number 1-800-345-3045 X 4086 and X 2604 has been harrassing my husband leaving text and voice messages and that I will report them as a federal fraud scam, the lady said on the phone that they are not affilated with any other company and the 1-800-345-3045 us bit a contact number for their company.

I got a message from this number and it was addressed to me!! So I heard it.  It was about some Debt Collection Agency, to please call them back at ext 4023.
I'm not in debt!!
Before they used to call asking for someone else; really, Verizon should be more careful with the information that provides to or shares with other companies!!!

Got a call from some Grant Campbell guy, but I missed it. Even so, I know what it's about and I'm going to write a letter of debt validations as well as force them to continue communications in writing or I'll throw them to the FTC wolves.

I came home to a note on my door from my cousin saying to call Dino at 1-800-345-3045 ext 4099 saying that he tried calling my number but  could not get through. He then called my cousins (with the same last name) and asked them to forward the message. He said that I know him. No message other than asked me to call him back.

hummmmmmm... I don't know a Dino and red flags were waving!  so I looked up the number and found this.  can't help but agree its a scam!!! watch out everyone!!!!

This call showed up as a PRIVATE NUMBER -- A Laura left a message saying "she's been working with her client and has some good news for me!" Said call 1 800 345 3045 with a reference number. Didnt leave the name of her company or her client. Why would I call back!!!
