I worked for a major hospital chain and this is their preferred collection agency. They are horrible. Where most of the problems come in when the clinical staff type in a wrong number. Because so many people lie about their number to collection agencies they will never believe you are the wrong person. I worked for them and was turned over once on a payment arrangement that came out of my check but someone mistyped in the AR system.

Received this call today. I did not answer. There was no message. I called back, then after some recorded messages I was waiting to be transferred. Finally I hung up.

I found a solution to these kinds of people. I just document everything from phone calls to USPS mal and after I get enough of their garbage I call my lawyer at lemberglaw.com or call 855-301-8100. They are nationwide and I have presented 2 cases so far and won them both. One paid me $825 in damages and the other paid $750 in damages. These people at Lemberg are great and guide you through the whole process.....THI IS NOT A PAID ADVERTIMENT...It's a fact.

Richard, you must work for DRSI because no one has had a courteous, friendly or professional conversation with these people!
Richard 2013-09-26 19:08:44 Debt Collector
They called my cell twice today, so I looked them up on the Web. I called them back and they were very courteous and friendly, but said I owed $50 to Antelope Valley Hospital. They gave me all the insurance payment information and the date of services -- that was the day my son broke his arm and was ambulanced to the emergency room. Now, when my son was admitted, I handed my credit/debit card to the admissions clerk (you can't breathe in AV Hospital without paying first), so it didn't sound right. However,I looked up the account and, yep, indeed, AV Hospital never ran the card. Same card I just payed DRSI with. AV Hospital just, I don't know, they just forgot to take the money I handed them, I guess. And they never sent a bill, either. They forgot that, too, I guess.
The DRSI customer service rep (or debt collector, I guess) was the paragon of courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism, even though I was pretty pissed off about the fact that those pudding-heads running AV Hospital don't have two neurons between them. So, five stars to DRSI for polite and excellent service and five farts to AV Hospital for not processing payments and sending bills! I hope DRSI gets most of the 50 bucks that AV Hospital refused to take when it was first handed to them!
And the rep was very nice about the fact that no credit bureau reporting had been made -- "our goal is to collect a debt, not report to credit bureaus."
Sometimes, some of us who end up in debt collection really aren't deadbeats. We pay all our bills -- as in, ALL our bills -- and, for no fault of our own, the payee has s*** for brains. In such a case, it really makes a difference when the debt collector is respectful, polite, and professional. So, despite what some of you have been saying, let me give DRSI a big thank you for professionalism and courtesy.

This call is from a collector for medical payments. They called me for a $100 dr visit I didn't know my insurance had denied. They were the most polite collector I've ever spoken to.

I've received 2 calls from this number already, on my cell. The first time I didn't answer. This morning, I answered the phone, and it immediately hung up. When I called back the number it was busy. From what I'm reading it's another scam.. beware!

these people are bottom feeders. lowest form of life on earth....almost 95% of these scumbags have extremely bad credit and have no right to ask for a dime from anyone ....i bet when they get home from work, they have messages from collectors waiting for them to call....they never get a lead until the company you owe charges you off...at that point the company has earned its profit and lose write offs, and in truth you owe nobody after that....so to hell with collectors.....
Joe 2012-10-27 18:17:51 Unknown
They call all the time... It out of control....
L 2012-09-26 21:40:31 Unknown
Do what I do. If someone is calling from an 800 number....just let it go to voicemail. I guarantee they won't leave a message. I never pick up a call from an 800 number as it's either a telemarketer or collection agency

Collection reps are always in an artificial hurry, mainly because their commissions and bonuses depend on meeting quotas and in-house competitions among fellow reps. No different from a sales floor, really. It's possible the rep flat out lied to you, something you can make him and his boss pay for in court.
Resident47 2012-09-25 19:35:42 Unknown
} Wonder how long this will go on?
Until you take direct action to dispute the collector and the credit bureaus, that's how long. Farting around with triple-B complaints is getting you nowhere while your chance to dispute claims and file necessary lawsuits slips away. You could meantime have stopped the calls any time in the last four months if you'd only learned your federal rights.

You can "flag" all you like but it will not make a debt collector into a telemarketer. The latter, when legitimate, wants your money in exchange for a service or item. The former just wants your money, and is not selling anything. (... apart from a line of bull ....)

This is just an update. This company is still calling people. They call me several times a week to collect a debt, which of course I am totally not related.

Got the call on my cell phone. Do not know how they got my number. The man said I owed a medical bill from last year. They are collectors & it was up for collection. I told him I was on medicare & have sup ins. They pay all of my medical test. He said the ins rejected it. I said I was going research it that I do not owe any money to anyone. He wanted me to call him back tomorrow before 7 pm. I thought it is a scam call. He called at 6:30 pm Wednesday.

A man called from this number, concerning a hospital bill that was paid off years ago. He proceeded to tell me that he wouldn't mail anything to my house concerning this. I asked him how was I supposed to verify that there was a balance from the hospital if I had nothing in writing. He then stated I sounded very old, and most likely would die before the bill was paid in full.
I'll be reporting this number to the BBB, and well as the FCC.

Seems as though anytime my credit score is pulled I start receiving calls from this company. last time it happened was in the fall, they claim that I owe on an old medical bill that I actually attempted to trace back to the root of the actual medical claim...came up with nothing. So I filed a complaint with the BBB...got me nowhere obviously because I just received another call. (my credit was pulled yesterday due to applying for a house to rent) If they think I'm going to give them $200 & some odd dollars when I just LOST MY HOUSE they're nuts. Wonder how long this will go on? UGH

Received call from this number, answered the phone and all I heard was "Sorry for the inconvenience" but it sounded like a mechanical voice. Attempted to call back but got a long complicated directory message about their company but did not hear the name of said company. Really fishy.

I have gotten about 4 phone calls a day from this number since I got my phone two months ago. They call and there is always someone asking for Jessica. There is no Jessica. I have told them MANY times. But they still call. I just answer and set my phone down. They can talk to air. It is what I feel like I am doing when I talk to them.

These mother ruckers has been harassing my wife for about a month so far and it is over a debt caused by a medical provider's incompetence. I am ready to find the actual office these guys are calling from and pay them a little visit with some special treatment of my own. My insurance has processed the claim correctly, because my wife and i actually called them and filed it correctly on the provider's behalf. Word has been sent to this DRSI from myself and the insurance, but they are saying if it isn't paid by the end of the month it will go on her credit and they will NOT remove it any reason.
They are just trying to get money from us and hope the insurance pays as well, doubling their spoils.
What a bunch of b*****ds!
BBB will hear about this!
