They're annoying calls. They just don't give up. Even if you owe the loan, morally, it would be right to pay it back. I did some digging, and went as far as emailing the treasury bank for guidance for this same thing. What I found out is quite shocking. These Internet loans are illegal in my state, and most states are getting on board. Since said loans are illegal, are not licensed, and are predatory loans, you're under no obligation to pay it back. Period. It will not even make its way to your credit report whether you pay it or not. Why? Because they're illegal. Furthermore, There are statue of Limitations on debt. Most states are 4 years. They can only come after you and Sue you to collect on the debt in these 4 years. After the 4 years, they can still call and send letters but they can't sue (this is for legal debt mind you). Just block the number, or change your number or ignore it. They can't touch you. Hope this helps.

Don't give into them...  They are giving out illegal loans and they don't have the jurisdiction to collect or take you to court.  And any collector who threatens to put you in has broken collection laws, so you know they are crooks. All I can tell you is that writing them letters, or asking them to stop will not do any good. You can report them to state and federal agencies, but that won't help you. These people operate on protected Indian Reservation Land, and so enforcing regular US Laws on them is next to impossible. You just have to outlast them. Change your numbers or put numbers blocks on your phones to block all the numbers they call from. Even if you pay them, which you should not do, there is no assurance that they, or one of the other sleezy collection outfits they sell your information to, won't call you years later claiming you still own money. And even if you have the receipts showing you paid them, they will not care.   Don't give in. They count on the fact that some people get scared or tired and give into them. They can't sue you because their hands are dirty to being with.

500Fast Cash and their sister company United Cash Loans, don't obey the consumer laws. The operate their business off Indian Reservation land, and thus under the same enforcements and laws of other companies. But by the same token, since they are operating that way, they also have no power to sue or collect from people that owe them.

You can tell them until you're blue the face to stop calling you at work, on your cell...etc. You can even send them Cease & Desist Letters if you want to. Report them to the FCC, Attorney General, or whoever you want to, and they still won't stop harassing you unless they just decide to stop cause you can't be scare into giving in.

Don't give in people. They prey on people's ignorance of their rights. Don't let them intimidate you into paying them off on their illegal loans.  They won't take you to court because they have no jurisidiction and even if they did they still would not because their hand are dirty and you can't collect on a loan that is illegal and should not have been made in the first place.

These scammers call me at least once a day, leaving me threatening messages, but most of the time, calling and don't leave a message.  It's annoying but what can we do? If you are getting sick and tired, I would say change your number, not list it in phone book so they won't try to find you.  Scammers.

Debt Collector
Hey,
I worked for a collection agency for about 4 months and it was thee worst job of all time,  possibly call on debts that were up to ten years old. These companies work as 3rd party collections.  So the initial company that was owed $$$ couldn't get the person to pay, after a couple months they take their collection of old debt and give to a collection. Agency (like the one I had the unfortunate issue of working for)  I do know that this group calling are not scamming you they are just trying to get paid... now the cannot give out any of the personal info for the person they are trying to reach because if they did and the person on the phone isn't the right contact then they could theoretically steal the identity of that person ...they ask u to verify info like the last 4 of your ssn or your address as well as name birthday place of employment etc..if they call your cell tell them its your cell and they can't call it take it off their list same For work,  they HAVE  to by law the FDCPA (tell them you know all this information, threaten to sue, all calls are recorded, and in theory you sue the person you're speaking with) btw if you don't want the call to b recorded tell them to call from non recorded line, the consumer has all the rights...IF U DO LEGITIMATELY OWE THE MONEY YOU WOULD KNOW IT, AND YOU'RE NOT FOOLING THE COLLECTOR, AOOT OF PEOPLE DONT REALIZE YOU CAN ASK FOR A SETTLEMENT, THEY WILL AT 1ST SAY THEY CAN TAKE OFF 10% BUT MIST OF THE TIME THEY CAN GO AS LOW AS 50% POSSIBLY LOWER ...SETTLEMENTS ARE ALLOWED OR NOT BY THE INITIAL COMPANY THAT IS OWED NOT THE 3RD PARTY COLLECTION AGENCY ...I HOPE ANY OF THIS INFO HELPS AT LEASt one person.

Our office has received multiple phone calls from this company and multiple hang-ups. When called back, it is the "fast cash" company, looking for someone who I have never heard of . They claim they have removed our number from their system. The last woman I spoke to said they are not a collection agency.

I have received calls from this number every day for the past two months since I got a new phone number.  Every day I tell them that Ithere is no Robert at this number, that I do not know a Robert, and to please remove my telephone umber from their call loop.  Every day I get told that they will do that, and the next day it starts all over again.

They keep calling our Company asking for one of our employees.  Yesterday, I told the caller that we did not allow our employees to receive personal calls of this nature at work, and that they should not call here again.  That number just called here (but no one was on the line when I answered) so they are now in violation of federal law.

2011Folks, I want to let you know that both the FBI and FTC are actively investigating this. I work for a federal court judge. These jerk offs made a HUGE mistake calling me. The FBI field office for my region of my state happens to be two doors down from ours. Each call I received was recorded, and the FBI is tracing the origin of the calls. Being that I work in a federal agency, the spoof number system DOES NOT WORK. What is distressing is that some of these calls originate within the US. However, that makes it that much easier to track them..... they will be caught!!!

They screwed with the wrong girl here. The last call I got, three weeks ago, I put them on hold and got the FBI agent , who took the call. We tracked the number to Texas.

REPORT EVERY CALL TO THE AUTHORITIES, POLICE, FBI, FTC.........they are going to bust this ring!

Ding dong.......before they know it, they will be busted!

I also received this phone call.  They told me it was 500fast cash loans.  She told me that I took out a loan for 400 something dollars almost 2 years ago.  She then told me that if I don't pay that the next phone call will be for the amount of 4,800 dollars.  She gave me the e-mail address that was connected to this account.  It was not mine.  She then told me that I need to the police to file a fraud report stating that someone with my name and social had taken a load out for money.  She also told me that I need to cooperate with their investigation.  I asked her to send me a document, she refused to sayin that it was an internet based company that don't have documents.  I then ask her to tell me what my social security number was,  she said she is not allowed to give that out, but I could go ahead and tell her what it is.   (Right, like Im gonna fall for that).  She got very upset with me stating that she is having a meeting today with her comany and they will be discussing this  matter with them.  She then said that this could be taken care right now buy payin 600 and some odd dollars and it would end up going to the price of 4,800  /   I then told Im not gonna help them with an investigation on some one elses problem.

We then hung up with her very mad at me.    Number was 800-356-0633

I keep getting phone calls from some business looking for someone named Diane. I have told them numerous times that they have the wrong number, but they refuse to take my number out of their system.  The last time the caller asked for my name for documentation purposes to replace the name for my number and she hung up on me when I refused to give her my name.  The whole reason I keep answering is to try to get them to stop calling me, not so they know my real name when they call.  They have been calling me for months from various 800 numbers.
800-356-0633 and  800-371-9252, are the two that have just called me today.
