Charged 147.56 for what I am not sure. I don't ever order from infomercials

I was charged 78.00 for the snaps....HELLO....that is not what they said....I sent them back and cslled Visa...thery said if I don't get my money back to call Visa back....

This happened to me too.  I want to refuse the shipment and get a refund but I can't find any phone numbers for this company.  I think to refuse the shipment I'm NOT suppose to open the package.  I'm guessing the packing slip is possibly inside the package.  No number on the outside of the package.  All claims online say this company/address is fraudulent.  I don't know what Chase will do if I get them involved.

Got a charge on my debit for 86.90.  did not purchase anything.  I did not get a call it was charged to my debit card and I called the # but not available on weekend.

Ordered online from TV ad.  Total of order was $17.00, I was charged  $4.22 tax and $31.96 handling.  No one told me that there was such charge.  Did not get bill till a month after purchase.

WATCH OUT FOR THE AMOUNT YOU ARE CHARGED!!!!!!!!!!!!  THEY CHARGED ME $88.96 FOR THE SNAPS, 1 ORDER. HAVE TURNED IT OVER TO FRAUD UNIT OF MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just sent a message.....but continued to read other messages.   I also ordered style snaps from a TV ad.  Now I know exactly what happened.  I'll never do that again.  Saw the same snaps  in a legitimate catalog that I have ordered from before with no problems.  Guess I should stick with sources I can trust!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad I kept on reading other messages.  Now I have something to tell my bank and the police.

I just found out the source of the $71.94 charge on my debit card - GPM Merchandise Direct - NY  They did it to me also.  I am calling my bank in the morning.  I also intend to report this scam to the police.  Someone needs to stop that scammer!!!!!

I don't remember ordering anything from them!!!!  I will call the 1-800 number in the morning to see just who answers.  Sooooo glad I did a search on the internet and found all these complaints.  Now my husband can't blame me.

Hi all, I ordered some style snaps over a month ago and was just now charged. I think if you buy any sort of infomercial and/or something from a magazine or even online it goes through a company or two instead of just going directly through whoever you ordered from. Just make sure you know that it could be something that you actually did buy but forgot about. Often, they don't charge you til they ship your order out. Which can be 4-8 weeks from purchase date! Easy to forget and I  hope this helps some of you!! P.s. I called the number and gave my last name and zip and they pulled up my account and stated my first name and the product I bought. Good luck!

Hey everyone, I thought GPM was a scam too because the name is not the same as who I ordered from. I bought Style Snaps from an infomercial, and I just happened to recognize the price. I had already called my bank to make them aware of the situation, but found out later I was wrong. This must be a big company that handles customer service for As Seen on TV products. I placed my order a couple of months ago and forgot about it. I thought they already charged me, but I remember it saying it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery after I placed the order (that's unacceptable these days), so I just forgot. Maybe you did too. I looked on here to get insight, so I hope this helps someone in the same situation.

Not recognizing GPM Merchandise I searched and found several links to scams regarding GPM Merchandise 1-800-366-6937. Every order I place I keep the receipt, and if ordered on-line I keep the email confirmations. In looking at my email folder "Orders" I realized I had an order for Emery Cat® Refills. GPM Merchandise handled payment for that order. No fraud for this transaction but I will keep my eyes open for any scams in the future after what I have read.

Today this company made the same to me. They charged me with $25.98 and I haven't bought anything to them.

I found the number on my bank statement as a preauthorize hold. When I called the number it turned out that they process orders from TV and internet sales. I had bought a Snuggie for my grandson on the net. They were very pleasant and professional. I had forgotten about the order and they don't hit the card until the order ships.

all of those call the 800 ads are answered by people paid to sit home and take those calls, people who you would never in a million years trust with your information. you find all this out only after you place an order and get ripped off... have to do all the crap needed to get your money back, never do and then do the bank shuffle to get it stopped, get your account card changed, or worse yet, your account changed to stop it all... more embarrassing... So who has the info on how to really stop these guys and how do we unite? I wanna know... any one else???

We just ordered the containers and they charged 126.55 for a 19.99  item. Help! Tell us exactly what you did to get a refund? Any help would be very appreciated!!!!!!

I ordered a purse online and checked my account and seen an additional charge of 24.90.  Its not much but its just that i did not authorize it and I was furious that I couldnt reach anyone to see what company it was.  I contacted the merchant that I ordered the purse from and he has no idea so now I have to cancel my debit card.  THANKS ALOT GPM merchant, you really need to go f*** yourself and find something else to do besides play with peoples money!!!!!!

Yep  got my monie back from an order i placed in nov 09 and got billed mar 10--refunded my S&H and refused shipment and got all my money back

No CALL.  I got this on my bank statement:  GPM*MERCHANDISE DIRECT8003666937.  I had no idea what this was, but it turns out that I ordered a book from TV 2 months ago and they say it was charged because it shipped.  They also conformed that this was a one-time charge.  If I see anything else, I will post.

i thought this was a fraudulent charge also, but i realized it was something i bought 4 days ago (a Snuggie!)  and it was a dollar cheaper than it was supposed to be.

I didn't get a call, I found out because I happened to check my citibank statement and see a charge for $44.84 on the statement. The only information given on the purchase was "merchandise direct" and their number. I google the number expecting not to find anything and come across this site. Scam artists!!!! Check your statement regularly!

I just called the 1-800 number and some guy named Jim answered and I asked if it was GPM Merchandise Direct and he said it was a John Deer Company!!!  What the heck?  Obviously they are a hoax!  I even made sure I checked what number I called.  1-800-366-6937

There's a charge from this number pending on my checking account.  Chase can't block it.  They say they have to let it post and then file a claim against it, which is completely a$$ backwards.  Their best advice is for me to destroy my ATM card and get a new card and number so that's the plan.

I ordered something off the internet and the phone number and NY appeared on my checking account statement.  I had ordered Bruxton Purses so maybe this is the company who handles their 'stuff'.

Read the fine print if you ordered the trial of restervol. Very deceiving....Your trial is .99 & then 14 days later if you don't cancel they bill you again for the full amount of the trial because you did not cancel. They billed me 84+ dollars plus a foreign transaction fee. What is a fts? I have never seen this before. Again in August they sent another shipment billed my cc again. I sent it back & they claim they have credited my cc but have not seen a credit yet. Word of advise if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. How could I have been so ignorant. This company is a big rip-off & needs to be reported to the Media to be exploited with the rest of the crooks. I have not been billed by another company but I will continue checking my account to make sure that there is no unauthorized transactions after reading these posts. AOL should be notified as well since they advertised this special trial on the sign in screen. I think that there is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen against this company. Any Lawyers on board willing to take them on? I will be on board!!!!!!!!
