Got a call from 800-375-8211 looked it IP and it said was direct TV.

beware - this is a bait and switch operation.  they told me i would get the 250 package from dish and registered me for the 120 package.

Keeps calling my cell phone but won't leave a message. I don't answer calls that ate not on my contacts.

Got a call today from Satelite Systems 800-375-8211.  Called back, listened to options.  Pressed 5 to remove my number.  Transferred to a live person and he removed my number.  Keeping track from this day forward for any additional calls, which if they do, will report and sue for damages per do not call request regulations.

any company that repeatedly calls your cell and hangs up right away has to be a scam.  Sadly people have nothing better to do than waste other peoples time.

whoever these people are it does not have the smell of being legitimate----get nothing but recordings if you call back

You people are stupid. This company told me out right that i could save money if I switched i did and have been happy. Very polite and very legit. So sad to hear people cry about this. Grow up and maybe hear them out and you could save money.

I signed up for DirecTV under their promotional offer of a free home theater system with DVD player with 12 months of service of DirecTV from their company on September 2nd. 2004. According to their flyer, I would receive the home theater system after 6 months of continuous DirecTV service.

After 6 months of continuous service I did not receive a home theater system, in fact I did not receive an email or anything from Direct Satellite Network Solutions. I called them in April, one of their representatives told me I should have received a form for the home theater system from them after my 6th month bill and that 'it was weird that I didn't receive anything'.

He told me I¡ needed to complete the form and send it back with a copy of my receipt and that after they receive the forms they would send the home theater system. So after doing so I still received nothing from them, I had to call them again and then was informed that I would receive the system in June.

June came and gone without even a word from Direct Satellite Network Solutions, I had to call them again and again but they always told me that there was a backorder and postponed the delivery date again and again. So far nothing has been received now.

Moreover, I found they always change their phone number without any notice. I ordered the package by phone at 800-788-5332 but the phone number didn¡¯t work on July. After going through a lot of trouble I finally found a different number for their company 800-615-1621. However this phone number is also no longer was used like previous ¨C no body picked up the phone. I found the change a local number as 949-643-7160.

They also delayed the delivery date to the end of this year with the some reason. As I know, they have been cancelled authorization by DirecTV and switched to Dish Network. I don't know if their still use some way to treat Dish Network's customers. However, I don't feel that I can really the package. It is only a promotion trick. I will keep updating if I get further information.

Asked for Bri and immediately hung up after saying she wasn't home.

I registered on donotcall.gov and received 2 calls while I was at work from the 1 800 number 2 weeks later. Very annoying.

This number calls a minimum of 2-3 times per day and I usually ignore it. I decided to answer the phone tonight, basically to tell them to stop calling. I answered the phone and got dead silence. I sat on the phone and listened to dead silence for roughly one minute until the call ended itself.

Thank you for the advice.  I did the same.  I've also been receiving a call a day from these people.

This company has been calling me 2-3 times per day for several weeks. After reading Alex's post I also called the number back and selected option 4 (to have my number removed.) I too left a message with my number asking them to remove it.

I called them back at 800-375-8211, selected option 4 (remove from call list) and left a message with my number only asking them to remove me from their call list. I did not leave my name. As of today they have 30 days to remove my number

My number is unlisted with Time Warner - how did these people get my number?

I have been getting at least one call a day from this number for a few weeks now, but i have never answered it until today. There was no one on the other line, just silence. The thing is im 17 and do not handle the bills whatsoever. It does not make sense why they have my number and why they would call me.

Sick of people calling offering this stuff...If we wanted this service we would call them. But, we don't!!! So that means QUIT CALLING US.

It's getting to the point that I don't even want to answer my phone anymore to unknown numbers. So I let it ring, then look the number up online and add my complaints to sites like this. You'd think they'd get a clue already

They are still at it. They tried to tell me that my contract was up and that they could me a better rate. They are from Dishtv. They tried to get me to switch my service. When I asked that they remove my name and number from their list, the man replied he would call me back in a few months. Even after I said it numerous times. I called directv immediately after and informed them.

This service is NOT Directv or Dish. It's some sort of promotional sales service. They tried to tell me that they were offering me a lower payment on my Directv account. Once they pitched the deal they slipped and said my new Dish Network bill would be.... They some how got my phone # and were trying to switch my service without telling me. They seemed sleazy and I'm reporting them to Directv legal.
