I keep getting calls from this number and I call them and they say they are looking for some person I never heard of and that they will take my number off the list but it never happens and they call wanting a different name, once they gave me a list of names they were looking for.

Not a telemarketer. please call back 800-378-2420 and give the reference #.  The "person" calling said he was Park Dansen and they had important information for me.

got the same msg, claiming not a sales call, left a number to reference.  when i returned the call, i was told they were looking for someone else.  is this truly a scam? i'm dying to know.

Called my cell phone with their automated recording (which is in itself illegal in the US, except in emergencies) so I called them back and it was for someone else.  The guy that answered was a bit rude about it, too, like it was my fault that I'm not that other person.

It should be noted that the poor quality recording at the 704-671-3096 number stating that it is out of service is not a telco recording - it was missing the error tones and it actually did connect to the subscriber.

I have gotten repeated messages on my answering machine from this number, asking me to call 1-800-378-2420.  The 1-800 number doesn't seem to be working, and when I call the 704 number from my caller ID, I am told it is no longer in service.

When i called the number after it being left on my answering machine  they claimed i owed Embark phone company a big bill from 2004.Why is the phone company not billing me if i owe that?
