To pay an advance fee to get a loan in the USA is ILLEGAL. It is also a sure, 100%, sign of a scam. You NEVER pay money, to get money, NEVER! The method of the advance fee is the giveaway. Western Union, MoneyGram, MoneyPak, Green Dot, etc. These are wire transfers. No real business uses them. They are CASH, untraceable CASH. You NEVER use a wire transfer to send money to someone you do not personally know. The money can be picked up anywhere in the world. Nigeria, for example. Advance fee's, for ANY reason, & I mean ANY reason, are a scam!

This message is to Travis I noticed in your write up you said you finally got your loan my question to you is how much did you have to put up front money wise to get the loan I am in the same situation and skeptical about going with fairwin trust I would like to know what you had to do to get the loan and how long it took before you got the funds thanks Shawn.

You NEVER have to pay money upfront to get money!  Doesn't matter if they say it's for "fees, insurance, first instalment - whatever" - it's illegal to have to pay money to get money.

I applied for a loan and Corey from Fairwin told me that he was able to finance me with a loan if I had a co-signer or was willing to pay $3000 for insurance on the collateral. I went to my Canada Post office to wire the money as instructed by Corey and by the time I got home in 10 minutes I was getting a call from Money Gram Fraud Protection because they were concerned that I was being tricked. They asked me a couple questions and once I finally fessed up that I actually did not know who I was sending this money to personally and it was for insurance money the Money Gram Fraud man very nicely told me he stopped the money from going through and gave me a refund number and I was completely refunded the entire amount including the processing charge. I thank God that someone was looking out for me. Corey is adamant that this is the real deal and that if I have a co-signer I would not have to send any money at all and that I would still get the loan. I am not sure what to think but I think from now on I will just stick with my personal banks.

I received a call from this number from a guy by the name of Corey, he claimed he's a loan broker from fairwin trust. I'm very skeptical about scams and fraud so I did a little research and found out that he has a few numbers. He calls you from a number that's located in Ontario and gives you a number to contact him that is listed from Winnipeg. So I have friends in the credit bureau that did some research for me and come to find out its legit but a high risk.

This guy says he's a loan broker and can get me a loan if I make an upfront payment for insurance on a loan I don't believe him can anyone confirm this exists?
