Received a call from this number today and, by the way, today is Saturday.  There was an African-American lady (by the tone of her voice) on the line with some loud background noises.  She repeatedly asked me to identity myself and I repeatedly kept asking her who she was or what the call was about.  She eventually hung because she didn't want to answer my questions.  This moron had the courage to call without identifying herself or what the call was about.  A message to folks out there, just keep bombarding callers with questions, as they get annoyed with that and eventually hang up.

These clowns need to stop calling my number.

Got a call from them and they hung up. Called back and refused to identify themselves and then they hung up.

This number calls me every day for the last week or so at 12:10 CST.  When I answer there is never anyone there (not even any heavy breathing).   I am guessing that it is some sort of collection company from reading the posts here.  If this is how they function how do they stay in business?  I mean it is like a door to door salesman that stands by your door for 5 minutes with out knocking then leaves.  Any way,  I do not think I owe anyone money but, lets face it accounts receivable departments are not always the best at keeping the money straight or letting people know they owe for that matter.   Maybe this finely tuned collection machine will have time to answer their call to me next time.

Repeatedly calling, especially in the evening, If we answer, they hang up!!! This is a constant and regular occurance!!! WHAT EVER BECAME OF THE "NO-C ALL LIST"?

Very unprofessional. When they called, i heard kids yelling in the background. hung up on that fool.

They were going to try to make you feel guilty so you would pay the bill.

I am certain you have the right to insist they supply an address you can write to.
They don't like that because you can then write and insist they cease calling your number.
Send the letter registered so they have to sign for it and you have them by the throat.

You can report them to the federal trade commission if they call again.

Wow! David, are you taking a feeble stab at the President?  People who can't even spell correctly or put a sentence together should probably stay quiet.  This is about annoying phone calls, not infantile people who post their (see that? a new word?) political beliefs.

me too...  not only this 800 number does this, but I get multiple 800 numbers on a daily basis cold calling for people.. trying to find everyone with the same last name in the US???   wtf!

Got my first call from that number today.  Nice thing about Google Voice - it's a point & click operation to block the call, which I just did.  Now they'll get a "number disconnected" message.

Received a call from this number just before noon eastern. The call was recorded/computer generated. The call asked me to identify if I was the named person by pressing 1. It then did this a second time. The message asked me to hold and then disconnected.

My assumption is that it was a debt collector call because it wanted me to verify that I was the targeted person.

They called and put me on hold, then when I called them back they wanted my phone number.

I keep getting calls from these people, which I refuse to answer because they never leave a message so I assume they do not actually have any pressing, legal business with me.  Finally looked up the number out of annoyance and found this site.  I suspect as is reported above that they are a collection service.  I have recently been dealing with a medical bill that is supposed to be covered by workmen's comp but the paperwork got messed up so my name ended up on the bill.  Maybe they'll leave me alone once that's sorted out?

Still, super annoying that they call me every frickin' day!

When I told the guy they have the wrong number, he began to argue with me. Then when I told him I would pay him the debt if he sends his mother to my house to do my dishes in the nude, he said "f*** your mother" and hung up! lol I love it

They called me asking for a relative that use to live with us. After I told them he had passed away. She than asked who I was and I replied...the dead person's brother. Two days later they called again. After a similar conversation I asked if they though he came back to life and they hung up. Amazing stupidity!!!

I screen all calls, so that one never gets answered - it rings twice and stops.

Recorded message...I hang up!

I see the calls coming thru so I answer and hang up right away. That way, they don't even get to know what my name is from my voicemail. Hee hee.

I have received several calls from this number over the last month.  Every time they call nobody is on the line and when I say hello again after waiting about 2-3 seconds and a person comes on with noise in the background so I just hang up.  I just now called and received a live voice and when I asked for the name of the business they refused and asked for my name.  I then again asked what the business name was and she said they can't give that out.  If they are not going to tell me the business name then why would I give them any information as I have no idea who they are?
