This is a first call from this number. how do I stop it??

I am getting continuous phone calls from this number they are speaking Spanish and being very rude i asked them to please not call my number anymore and in the past 10 mins they have called 20 times

i had to yell into the phone to enable the person to start talking to me; annoying
then they mentioned they are with td canada trust; i said we don't do much business with them, she continued on the shpeel anyway
she asked if i was a home owner, i said no then she said oh...they were offering a mortgage thing

i keep getting calls from this number as well. i have been ignoring them for months. finally i picked it up today and asked to be taken off their list / put on a do not call list. they told me i have to ignore their calls for 31 days at least - which seems ridiculous. i have worked for a call centre in the past and i know if there is a list, you can be taken off of it. and if not, they should be able to accomodate you by putting your number on a do not call list. and they should assure you they will take care of it / be able to accomodate your request. you have to ignore for 31 days? crazy!! what BS. if this really is td canada trust, i'm very disappointed with them, have lost respect for them and the impression i had of them just got a whole lot worse!!

This is TD Canada Trusts #, I've called it back many times & left numerous msgs to remove me from their calling list.  Low & behold...they STILL call me EVERY day, at least 3 times a day.  ARGH!!!!

This number calls on average 3 times a day but we don't pick up numbers we don't recognize unless they leave a message on the answering machine. If they want to get ahold of us that bad they can leave a message and we will get back to them at our convenience... not at 8:45pm or when we are at work!

bastards called me too.. almost every 30 mins they call from  3pm-9pm... I just don't pick up.. if they're that desperate they can leave me a voicemail... I don't even have a TDBank account LMAO... fools!

This number called me again. They new my full name but wouldn't say who they were. I will not answer this number anymore. Thank goodness for call display. Oh and thanks to the lamo government for selling our private "do not call list" to India!!!!!!

And yet again. This time I got them to admit that they were calling from TD Canada Trust and wanted to ask me a few questions.
Number 1. Do I plan on taking any vacations soon?
Number 2. Do I plan on buying a GM vehicle in the next year?
Number 3. Do I like to shop?
In the end they wanted to offer me a TD Gold visa with some ridiculous credit limit. I called back the same number and the recording said TD Canada Trust, although I'm not sure if I believe that's its legitimate.

so fed up of this call. they ring at least 3 times a week. this is my fax line that they ring, and there is never a fax sent. why cant they get fed up and dont ring back since they get a fax tone when they call? i dialed the numbr and it's the  TD Canada Trust. ha, i dont have an account with TD.

I get this number also. I had an account with Canada Trust, and had gotten good service from them wherever I was. But since the Toronto-Dominion takeover, I've had nothing but crap from the company. The individual workers have their hands tied with regards to policy application. Several I know have quit. All my TD Canada Trust accounts are closed, and I've let them know I don't want any calls or other communication from them, but... it continues.

Just stated getting calls today from them.

Received 3 calls so far today.  Didn't answer once though.

i keep getting calls from them at least 3 times a day! its getting so irritating!
maybe i can try that 31 days thing..which seems crazy..=S

I pick up the phone but don't say anything - then wait for them to say "hello? hello?" and then THEY hang up.  Usually the calls stop after that.

Too many calls in one day so, thankfully, could use the Telus *60 option which will now block this call. But I like the idea of answering with silence (because I can't always remember/find my call blocking instructions). Thanks for that.

I too am harrassed by this phone # a good 3-4 times a day....wouldn't they get the hint after ignoring EVERY call!!!!

I received calls from this number almost everyday on both my cell and home phone couple times a day, .....really annoying.

this number called me many times;   when i pick up the phone, remain silent, & wait wait for the other side to say "hello" first,  they didn't say anything and the line cut.
I believed it was called by the computer, when they hear someone pick up the phone & say "Hello",  then they pick up the phone.

Got a call from this number twice today. I'll never answer--why do you keep calling?

I gave the manager at TD Canada Trust my private phone number to call me when they found a cheque for me that was sent to the bank in error.  NOW, I too am being solicited by them.  I guess I'll report this to the Better Business Bureau.

They call me about once a day and the leave a hangup message on my answering machine.

We have taken a look at this number it is not TD Canada Trust as earlier stated it is a scam.
Someone is looking for information do not give them any.
TD Canada Trust has opened an investigation regarding this one.

Jimmy, submitting a complaint to the CRTC will do nothing as TD is not breaking any telemarketing law. They only can call clients who have a product with them. If you do not wish to receive any solicitations from them you can call them or go into any TD Bank Branch and provide your information. Tell them to change the status of your account so that you receive no further solicitations. It is as simple as that.

For everyone complaining, just answer the phone and say to take you off the calling list. Stop complaining they are calling 5 times a day when you do nothing about it. If you get a rude person on the phone just remember what time you called as they tape all their calls and can find any call from the number that was dialed.  This is not some lame company calling you about a free cruise or telling you your warranty is expiring. All of you have an acct with TD or at one point did and you opted into these calls with your financial services agreement.

Called me today a few minutes ago. Did not leave message, hung up and left dial tone on message machine.

This ain't TD Canada Trust calling.
It's some scammers pretending to represent TD and trying to phish personal information from you.

I have called TD to verify that they have not used 3rd party to do marketing.
The guy said that he will report this to his superior.
TD probably won't do much until it starts racking losses from this scam.  Oh well.

When you get a call from this number, just tell them that they are being reported to the police.
