Got a call with a recorded message claiming that I had possibly won a Dodge Durango and gave a number for me to call so I hung up and did not return the call. I suspect that it is a scam, because I haven't entered such a sweepstake.

I received this call today. SCAM Please don't fall for this. If we stop playing their game, there will be no benefit to them making these calls.

Just received a call from 8003920090 with a recorded message saying I had won dodge Durango. Said I should call 888-5374550 to claim my prize.
mgray 2012-10-18 16:33:14 Unknown
Left message that we had won something-dodge durango or other prizes. Stated that it would be in our best interests to call back. Did not leave a comapany name, just prize claim center. Did not return the call.

I got a call today from 800-392-0090 and it was a voice message saying that I was a GUARANTEED winner for a 2012 Dodge Durango. That I needed to call the number back for details. So I called and I was told that I was in a COUPLE'S DRAWING for the vehicle that I filled out on a card or something. I do not remember this card that I supposedly filled out. If I filled out one, they should already know my name.. The thing that got me was that it was from me being GUARANTEED winner of of said vehicle to being in a DRAWING.. ((THIS IS CALLED FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and they can be sued for it.)) IF... now remember this word... "IF" I qualified for it. I had to be able to pay the tag, title and taxes on said winnings.. I understand this BUT they wanted a MAJOR CREDIT CARD and would not accept a DEBIT CARD. Told them that I only have a Debit which is true. I cannot get a credit card to save my butt. They said "so sorry for the inconvenience and hung up on me. I DO NOT LIKE BEING HUNG UP ON so I called back.. got a different "lady" and told her how I felt about being hung up on and all the other information I was given.. Told her that it was false advertisement what they said on that recording and she couldn't get her through her thick skull about it.. I told her that I have already been frauded upon twice with people stating that was a winner and wanted money from me and I would just consider this #3. And yes, I hung up on her. I am sick of people doing this. People commit suicide over promises like money and cars and crap like that.. I wish these people would take a long walk off of a short pier.

I just received the same Judy calling about me winning a Dodge Durango. I don't understand how she got my phone number because I have been on the DO NOT CALL List for almost 2 years. I knew it had to be a scam because I haven't entered in any contest besides the ones you receive on your shopping receipt. These people need to do something better than wasting people time.

I just received this call from Lying Judy saying that I was a guaranteed winner of a Dodge Durango. Thank goodness I'm smart enough to realize that if I was really the winner of such a big prize, she would have used my name and not have made a generic phone call. These scammers will do and say anything to get access to your bank accounts, personal information, credit cards, daily schedules, etc.
It all boils down to: They want to take from you what you have worked hard for and give it to themselves so they don't have to work hard. In my book, that's called stealing.

This all sounds good, but its nothing more than a typical solicitation by a company that sells pre-paid vacations. The 'come on' will say you've won a new Dodge Durango (or $25K cash), or $2500 cash, or a trip +$300 vouchers for meals, or a Toshiba HD lap top. They will require you to sit thru a 90 minute presentation (that they call an award ceremony), then they will draw to see which prize you've won.

I went and its a SCAM.

I got a call today saying I won the 2012 Dodge Durango. I didn't try to call back. Thought I would look it up on the Internet and found you guys. Thanks for all the information. I am really cautious. My cousin just got her bank account cleaned out. It was her savings. She went to another bank and they followed her there. She is a Senior and she needs her money.

My apologies to Amy who got it right. I meant "kam" who does not use capitalization, same as "tom".
Norm 2012-10-09 19:56:53 Telemarketer
No disrespect to Tom and Amy above, but I think Tom and Amy are actually Judy. I also think Judy is calling from Nigeria. I got the call also and since I don't recall entering my phone number to win a car I think I'll pass. More, how many prize places use a robocall to give away autos? And lastly, if I already won a car why would I want to attend a travel member meeting? Classic bait and switch. Don't fall for it.

Who is the owner?
kam 2012-10-06 04:05:21 Unknown
I followed through with the appointment I had tonight, indeed sat through a travel member meeting received a $100 restaurants.com dinner card and "won" a vacation package that requires payment lol.

I got this same call from a Judy Stiles on Oct 4th,2012 saying I had won too from this number 1-800-392-0090 ...it's all a scam to get you to buy something from them in order to claim your prize. I didn't call back, but I bet it was for one of those vacation resorts selling condos in which you do get a prize for sitting through a 90 min session if you like to do those things, I don't!
cc 2012-10-02 23:33:32 Unknown
Why do they ask for a credit card?
Joe 2012-10-01 15:31:21 Unknown
I got a call a few minutes ago as well stating that I was a guaranteed winner of a 2012 Dodge Durango just call 1-800-392-0090 to claim your Prize. just tried to call and said # was not available from my calling area
kam 2012-10-01 00:51:20 Unknown
I too received a call from this number claiming I had guaranteed won durango, I attempted to call back however they were closed. A live person did answer the phone and tell me that if I received the call than I had most certainly won a prize and to call back during normal business hours. I will know more in the next few days I suppose.
tom 2012-09-27 15:18:28 Unknown
I got the same call, I was curious so I called back and they said I won 1 of 4 prizes from a company called Four Seasons Resorts and I scheduled a appointment to go at 7:30 yesterday. I wasnt going to attend but curiosity had me show up. Amazingly it was everything they said it was. I sat through a very nice but quick introduction to the company then I drew a scratch card and won a free Toshiba labtop and a $100 dining certificate. Thank you I give them two thumbs up....
