This is a bill collection agency.  They called my new cell phone number, but must have been looking for the old owner of the number.  After I explained that I was not the person they were looking for, they were obnoxious and then hung up.

recorded message indicating it's a collection agency call and to call back.  Sounds like a scam to me!

8/6/08 Received the call from NCO Financial Center Corp "This is an attempt to collect a debt..."  No mention of WHO they are attempting to contact.  Since I don't carry debt, it's certainly not me.  They need to get their phone records straight.

Called with an automated voice stating that this is a dept collector.  Has called repeatedly, when will this end?

I just did a google search on this number (800-394-3194)and came up with a blog by someone who says this is NCO Financial Systems, which buys old debt, paid or not, and starts harassment. They have been fined more than $1million for violation of the Fair credit Reporting Act and will stop at nothing to get money from you. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO IE BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS BECAUSE THEY START WITHDRAWING.  BEWARE THIS COMPANY

we got a message on my husband's brand new office number (which has been our home fax number for 7+ years) to call kelly beck, with no reason for the call. the number she left is 800-394-3194.
