I think these calls are linked to a bogus job board I was registered with. The calls suddenly stopped after I removed my information from their website. Now they are mad because I reported them and apparently have given my information to every scammer in the country and probably outside the country, too. Well, another charge on their docket.

They just called me. I am a minor and they have my address and evvvvverything. It was an Indian guy that said he was from cosmetic research and wanted me to answer questions so thar they could do something about a credit card..

I just found out what to do to block these numbers from my local cable company info. I have selective call blocking and several other solutions I didn't know about.
My provider is Mediacom. Here's what areas they cover:
"Mediacom serves customers in over 1,500 communities in 22 states. Click on your state or a major location to find your local Mediacom office, services in your area." http://mediacomcable.com/site/about_local.html

For all of you with other providers (most of you) see what calling features you have from your provider. I hope they have what I have! You might try the instructions from my provider and see if it works on yours.

Received 3 calls....wouldn't identify company until requesting a manager or supervisor. Man then said his name wad James and company was called "Grand Central Research" when asked to be removed from list "James" said first I had to answer some questions about my financial institution....advised him ...
