I have not received a call from this number but it is referenced on a series of formal looking letters offering to reduce my credit card debt. The opening paragraphs cites " Our record indicate that you may have high debt to limit ratios... [and they] may be able to facilitate a settlement ... for much lower than you currently owe."
Where did your get these "Records"??
This may be a issue of MAIL FRAUD. If the owner of this number is listening, be advised that I am turning it over to the Federal Authorities.

Find the site on the internet for the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). There's a report form there to fill out -- must be done on paper but there is a fax # to use, in other words, can't be done online at this time. Suspect this is the ONLY way to combat robo calls, i.e., electronic dialer solicitations. Most people don't report these calls to the government and I suspect most people don't believe anything can/will be done.. I believe otherwise.

This number keeps calling my cell phone and it's not always the same person..it's usually 2 diff ppl about 2 diff things. The first if Rick Morgan and he leaves the EXACT SAME message that's in the first comment and the second is Sam Parker saying my family can get insurance for as little as $3 a day, $99/mo. They call my cell phone over and over and over!!

Scamming company
I had filed complaints to the FCC on one of them from a different state, same deal going on.
Rick Morgan:
Sorry guys for taking too long to get back to you but I'm really excited looking over a new program to lower your interest rates to 1.5%. I see that you're currently making the minumin payment.........this is your final curtisy call before closing the account.
FACT:
I've never talked to these people or any other company about reducint interest EVER. I haven't made partial payments in 20 years! I pay my card off in full each month.

keeps calling my cell about "Health Care"
Fred 2009-05-19 16:45:11 Unknown
I spoke to them- Debt Releif Corporation?...no such company.I asked for their website... they couldn't give it out since I wasn't an active customer..HUH? asked where their office is located..."we are natioanal"...asked where she was calling from... "click". This has to a be a identity theft organization because they started asking personal info. They say they will try reduce your credit card debt but this is a front for something else. They are way to evasive. Be wary.

caller hangs up if I answer. If I don't answer caller leaves soliciting message as though I had been in contact with him.

Recording saying they have a health insurance plan "for as low as $3 a day!". I'm getting so I don't answer any call on my cell phone that I don't recognize. It's just annoying.

Min was from Sam Parker about health benefits. Very annoying.

My call from this # was a recorded message from a "Sam Parker" about medical benefits for me and my family for $99/mo. He left a different toll-free callback # which I did not write down because I have no intention of calling back.

Health care company keeps calling, whenever I get through to the caller and ask to be removed they just hang up in my face before removing the number. The issue is that its a company line and these are unsolicitated calls as no one would authorize them to solicit individuals at this company. What can be done?
co149 2009-05-18 18:36:38 Telemarketer
If Rick's a live person, I'm surprised he got past my voice mail message. I include the phrase "This is a non-secure line" to make people think twice about talking. And it's a number in the 202 area code. If you *don't* wonder what I'm up to, you're not paranoid enough by half :-)
It's possible, though, that Rick lacks any brain matter above the brainstem...
whatever.!!! 2009-05-18 17:52:21 Unknown
i just got a call from this person as well .. i'm like wtf ??? I dont even have a credit card.

"Get back to you"???
I am sure that NO ONE ever called him first.
Rick's a DOUCHE.

A guy by the name of Rick Morgan calls. He appears to be calling on behalf of himself, and not a company, though he is using an 800 number.
This is the message he left on my machine:
"Hi this is Rick Morgan here. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I've just been really busy with this new program that just came across my desk. It can lower your interest rate to 1.5% and cut your monthly payments in half on your credit cards. And I do see that you're only making the minimum payments on those. This would be a great opportunity here for you. So please, don't hesitate and don't wait any longer. This is the final courtesy call that I can make before I have to close out your file. So it's imperative that you give me a ring today. You can reach my here at 1-800-978-4584. Again, the name's Rick Morgan, you can reach me at 1-800-978-4584."
