Not only do they harass you by calling, but when you *69 them, they either put you on infinite hold, or just hang up.

Recorded call asking us to call back with an ID number.  We have no outstanding debts to pay.  Getting this call every day...

For over 1 month we have received 1-2 calls EVERY DAY!!! It is a recorded message that says it is required to notify us that they are a debt collection company and to call this number immediately. This is a fraudulent call and appears to a phishing expedition!

Filing a complaint with the Do Not Call registry will do no good. NCO is a debt collection company, they are not governed by the registry. The only calls the registry stops are calls from businesses and telemarketers.

I have been receiving messages on my cell phone for months. My phone is usually turned off. To retrieve these messages cost me $.25 or .90, so it is a big inconvenience. My credit rating is 750+. Sure hope you can shut down these people who abuse the system.

Get a new call each morning at 8:00 (including weekends). We let the answering machine pick it up but no one ever leaves a message. I'm on the "Do Not Call Registry" so I was curious about who this could be.  I called the number from work and got a recorded message thanking me for calling NCO and a prompt to leave my name, phone # and account # and that someone would return my call.  I don't have an account number with any company identifying themselves as NCO. Contacting the DNC Registry to file a complaint.

We've received MANY calls from this number. I usually won't bother if it is a recording due to the extraordinary amount of telemarketing calls we've been hit with recently. I finally got sick of receiving these calls day after day and called back. They were looking for someone who doesn't even live here. I told the guy I didn't know the person they were looking for and he said he would take our number off their list. He was very nice about it, so hopefully that is the last I hear from them.

3 calls 27 Jan, 30 Jan, 31 Jan NCO Kimberly or Vicy York and Barry Filmore to call 800 244 5915 or 800 432 3988. Was told to grab a pen and write down number 10 15 15 8000 which is an information request number, but they don't say 1-0-151-8000. Other people reporting being charged 5.49 cents when they call that number. I have no Unpaid or Outstanding debt!

These people have been calling my office line since last week. Co-workers will randomly pick up my phone so its embarassing as hell to have it be some fraudulent debt collection agency.

Other than calling the number and sitting on hold, were any of you abler to get them to stop calling?

Strangely I JUST reported NCO financial for a call from a different # that I received on 10-07-08 & sure enough 5min later - they call.
I just picked up & hung up.

They are Zombie Debt Collectors: They try & collect debts that are bogus or that have been paid. Google your state for the statute of limitations on debts. I owe no one & get calls all the time on debts that have been dead for ages. Hence 'Zombie Debt'.

Recording saying , Please call 800-432-3988 Barry Filmore. THIS is an attempt to collect a debt. These diligent folks call 2 x's a day. Whew!!!!! I cannot tell the real folks from the fake ones. We must be careful.

This guy called saying on his voice msg that he was Barry Fillmore, and to return his call. He called before under a different number, and I reported it. However, he found me again!

I have no debts whatsoever, and I don't know how to stop him.

We are getting these "debt collection" calls more and more often. It is always recorded.  I do not want to call them back cause then they would know that they have a live number.

We owe nothing.

These guys just never stop.

Repeated automatic machine calls.  I thought it said "Bryce Philmore" but I may be wrong.  Telling me to call 1-800-432-3988.  We get these calls daily, and have done for two weeks now.  I will attempt to report him to the do not call list next.

I went to www.fairdebtlawyers.com and submitted an online complaint about NCO. Guess what?! They filed suit on my behalf for free and collected statutory damages for me from NCO for violations of the FDCPA. The above site is for a legitimate lawfirm in Philadelphia PA and they are amazing. They go after NCO every day and win. Just thought I'd pass on the info. The name of the lawfirm is Warren & Vullings and their phone number is 215-745-9800. Call them. You won't regret it. There are alot of things these collection agencies do that are against the law and most people don't even realize they are being violated.

This company rudest customer service representatives continue to call me and ask for four different persons whom sopossedly had given my phone number as theirs. I continue to tell the customer representative thatthey have the wrong number yet they continue to call!

I keep getting these calls from NCO. They call 2 or 3 times a day for a couple of weeks, it stops for about a month and then starts all over again. This has been going on for about a year. I did speak to a woman one morning, she was extremely rude, stating I owed $6000 on a credit card. She suggested that I use my MasterCard (she identified the name of the bank) to pay for the debt. I asked how she knew about this MasterCard and she stated she had my credit report.

I told her she did not have permission to charge anything to this card and I was contacting my bank about fraudulent use of my card. She starting yelling at me stating I need to pay my debts and stop being a deadbeat.

I checked my credit report to see if this "debt" came up. I did find that a social security number appears on one of my reports that is not mine.

My family member heard the record message from the caller several times recently, and I got the record message today. I called back to this number, the guy told me that I have debt from Sears of about $6000 from 1993. I was not even in U.S. for that peroid time, and I told him that, then he tried to verify my last 4 digits of my social security number which was not match at all.  We should stop this hassle. Some one or some company keep doing this to so many people should be punished by law!!!  L

Called left a message, automated, no name, no company name but 800 number comes up as fraudulent. I will not call back based on comments found on this web site but believe this to be a number which should be included in the do not call list, we have signed up for this, so I do not know why the FCC have not put a halt to their calls.

This is biggest Collection Agency in the US and they are know for there Stron Arm Tactics & harrassment.  They currently have several Cival Law Suits agains them.  This Collection Company called me all day & all night until I was referred to this website www.justusdebt.com
