appleby windows selling home makeovers

Have had the same run around with their warranty. I wonder how many of us it would take to start a class action suit to get these windows replaced?

If you wish to be taken off their call list and never bothered by them again call their inside number at 717-767-0235. Ask them to be taken off their call list. If they call you again report them. Quickly.
On average the appointment they will try to set yo up with will take about 3 hours and they will expect you to make a decision that night. Oh, the windows cost about $1,100 each. Believe me you can do the job for wayyyyyyyyy less.
If you really like them don't buy on the first night. Keep saying no. You will most likely get a call back from one of their telemarketers with an offer to have someone from their "Commercial Division" come out to give you a better price. They'll probably tell you they have an overstock or some BS.
Interesting that they will give you a better price the second time around. What about those poor shnooks that bought on the first night because "The Sale Price" was only good on the initial consultation? HMMM. Glad I didn't buy.

I know its too late for most of you on this forum but, if you ever decide to enter another contest at Kmart/BJ's etc for a chance to win windows or whatever- put your works phone number not your home phone number. If they call at night then they won't get any answer & most companies have caller ID so during the day I just don't answer that 1-800 number.

Contact the Do Not Call site https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx and register. Check the web site and determine how long you have to wait. If after the wait time they call again rport them to this site. It is a government site.

Okay, we bought into the Applebee window replacement back in 1993 and now 60-70% of the 19 windows we had replaced have fogged up between the glass.   They have been sending these postcards for the last 4 years claiming a national window recall and you would receive a $200 credit for each window reinstalled.  We had one of our windows break because of the not so intuitive locking mechanism.   They came out and gave us a price of around $3500. to replace 3 of our windows and proceeded to put all the blame the fogging defect on Thermogard, who were the manufactures of our windows through Applebee.    They knew these windows were defective and waited till after the warranty ran out before they started marketing their "new" windows with this ridiculous postcard recall.   The Applebee name is on our contract and I think they should stand behind the product they installed.

I have been calling the office number and went to their website and have been sending them "Contact Us" messages for the past hour. I call and hang up. Call and let them say "Hello? Hello?" Basically annoying them as much as I can. Childish and probably not going to change anything - but I feel better.

I happen to know that Appleby has an administrative position dedicated to ensuring folks aren't called when asked not to be (do not call compliance).  If you asked them to be removed, I can assure you they won't call you back.

I'm a new Appleby Sales Rep and I have never seen a company with such integrity that focuses so much energy and resources on customer satisfaction.  They teach us to underpromise and over deliver on everything.  I've seen a lot of companies out there saying anything to get a sale, and I'm just so impressed with Appleby's philosphy, their quality, honesty, and overall value.

i have been getting calls every week from this number. is there any way to comlpain or take legal action?

Calls me 4 -5 times a day on my cellphone....I never answer.  
I won't answer a number I don't recognize.  Never leaves messages.  
It's been going on for months now...I'm thinking of changing my

You are calling me 5 days a week between 6pm & 8pm.  You must stop calling me! You do not speak when I ask the phone.  You do not accept incoming calls.

I have been getting calls from this number for about a month. Ususally they hang up, but today they left a very disturbing message that consisted of a man breathing and whispering don't **** with me. It seems to me that something should be able to be done to shut these jerks down!

I have vonage and am trying to figure out if I can block the number, but have not been able to. If anyone know how to do this please let me know.

I received a call from that number and a woman asked for me. Since I did not recognize the number I said he was not here and asked to take a message and "what is your name". The woman responded with a disappointing "Oh" and said the call was a courtesy call and hung up.

The have been calling me for 2 years now and there asking me for my grandmother,yes its her house but its mine now I legally have it now so please leave me alone.

I have been picking the phone up for 2 weeks now and they ask me to speak to my mom so I call her to answer the phone and she tells me to make an excuse so i tell her that shes busy then i ask who is calling then they hang up shesse this is so annoying she as an acsent so I have no idea what shes saying

I have been getting calls from 800-445-4659 for the past two weeks.  When I pick up the phone they hang up.  I have vonage and when I called them they told me I can dial *77 and it will block the call.  Hope this helps everybody.

Its a call from "Apple Bee Services". They do bath and window remodel.
