Received calls from this number.  Asked for me by my mame, but want me to callthem back.  I won't.

Constantly calls with a hook while your holding on.  Do Not Answer.

My CC was charged by the company called O PARK CENTRAL, AZ under this phone number. Then I got a call from that number. I checked the AZ state department, such company was not registered with the state. Instead under this phone number EQUIANT FINANCIAL SERVICES INC. resides. Is it a spam?

Have received a call from this number threedays in a row saying to call about an important personal business matter.  I won't call the number.

this number keeps calling and leaving messages but does not say who it is, from which company or anything or what the call is for. It is certainly fishing for something and will not call them back but want it to stop. How do I do that?

Keep getting calls from 800-447-1760 and they say please hold for important message and nobody ever continues the message. We are on a no call list in Missouri too so have reported them.

Received a call from this number 3 days in a row that it is urgent that I call them back regarding business/ financial.

They call constantly on every number we own.  It's equiant for our Shell Vacations Timeshare.  But i made the mistake of giving them a check over the phone and it turned into a total nightmare. 2 months later I am still trying to get it fixed.  They say the check didn't go through so they kept re-depositing it but it shows cleared in my bank. And inital payments are being denied so they are trying to re-draft with taking on return check charges that weren't authorized. It is a total nightmare.

left a message, same as above about "important personal business".  I never call those back any more and they can suck it.  I will report to the fcc, tho.

They called me twice in a row, at 9:30pm and a little bit later. Are they really allowed to call so late??

We get these calls regularly.  It is EQUIANT calling.  These clowns start calling us when payment comes due and is 10 days or less from becoming delinquent.  We stay on top of our payments but they keep calling and will not stop even if you request.  We actually get very rude with them and most of the time just hang up. WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO??  We are paying our account.  We once tried setting up an automatic payment plan on our Mastercard and they dinged the account 4 times in a row on the same day.  Our bank denied all 4 payments on the 4th try as they consider this FRAUDULENT where we live (Canada, where the economy is not doing as bad as US, any wonder?).  They denied doing this, our bank says different, who would you believe? Try just being totally rude to them, the calls keep coming but at least you get some satisfaction of putting up with these IDIOTS!!!

Called my cell phone 7/2 and again 7/7 left mesaage "I'm calling about important personal business -- please call me back at 800 447 1760"
When I call back they give a list of options to make a payment, change account information, or business hours. I just hung up. Equiant does service our timeshare maintenance fees etc. But they have never called me before. And I do not currently owe them any money. So am not sure what personal business they are calling about.

"Equiant" called me at work on three consecutive days (Sept. 23-25, 2008) and left automated voice messages to call them regarding "my account." Major red flag after the second message. I'm planning to report them to FCC and the "Do No Call" List.

Be careful of this one.  Got a call from them yesterday asking me to confirm numbers on my husbands credit card. How dumb is this?  When I refused he told me his Manager asked him to make this call. Now that is even more stupid.  He became snotty when I would not give him the information, and would never say who he represented.  He told me to go to their site and put in my account number.  What account number? I guess as stupid as this call was I could make one up it might work.
