(this is coming from a debt collector).... they collect on payday loans.  These collectors that are calling you are literally meth heads, and felons, the 1%'s and their credit is worse than yours.  They threaten to sue you, and they have an attorney on staff, bla bla bla.  YOU CANNOT BE SUED FOR A PAYDAY LOAN, and odds are, they are not even allowed to collect in your home state because they only have a license to collect in New York State.  They wouldn't know how to sue someone anyway.  They are cons and retards.  If you are stupid enough to give them any money, then you deserved to get ripped off.  The worst they can do to you is interrupt your Sunday dinner. Scam! Scam! Scam! They have called for my husband twice. 2 different issues. 1st time the guy said his name  was Joseph Swartz and that my husband took out a pay day loan and that the loan was for over 700 and that the fees were racking up into the 1,000s.  He said that he was being served. 2nd time said his name was Joseph Anthony and that it was about a hot check with a a Bank we dont use and we dont have checks.

I received a phone call from Joseph Swartz stating I was going to be served with papers and told me to call 800-756-9073 for USB mediation they stated I took out a Loan while in bankrupcy and it is against law they are going to have my discharge reversed. They did not give the statement of attempt to collect a debt and could not supply a debit validation letter! Should I worry?

I first receive a phone call from a restricted number.  The guy proceeds to tell me that he is a processor working for process servers of America.  He said I am getting served with papers.  I told him that USB Mediation in Williamsville, NY was evasive and took a long time to give me a physical address for my own validation letter to be sent.  I looked up an Attorney Christopher xxxxse there is no attorney Christopher xxxse that practices in New York or New Jersey.  He claims to have a paralegal Colleen Geoxxx that works for him.  She didn't even sign her name to the computer generated paper.  The address has yet to be proven.  He got really ugly and nasty.  I asked him for his name.  He would not tell me.  I called Process Servers of America and they said that they would not have anyone address someone that rudely like that.  They would not call from a restricted line.  
Deputies just find you and serve you period!
USB mediations is a scam that was Ritter and Associates before.  No one can seem to prove who they are or what they are therefore, it is a scam.

I had one tell me he was an attorney and supposedly has a paralegal working for him?? When they sent me a computer generated letter the paralegal didn't even sign their name.

Wanted to send a debt validation letter, they became very nasty and ugly!!  They were very evasive and sent me this letter!!

First of all you will receive a call from a restricted number.  The guy or gal will say that they are getting ready to have me served with papers for a court summons.  I asked this person directly what their name was and who they were working for.  They would not give me their name.  They claimed they were working for bank of America, and USB mediation.  They will tell you they are with Process Servers of America.  I called Process Servers of America and they do not have any servers working using those rude tactics.  They would not be calling from a restricted number.  
USB Mediation claims that they are 2809 Wherle Dr., Suite #3 Williamsville, NY However, that has yet to be proven and determined???

The guy I spoke to after the first restricted call called me and scared me to death was supposedly an Attorney Christopher xxxxxxse; however, this guy doesn't practice law in the state of New York or the state of New Jersey.  I asked them for a physical address so I could send a DA letter.  They became nasty and evasive!!
Therefore, based on what I have.  I believe these people are scammers and crooks.  Do not give them any information without talking to an attorney.  If anyone has a bona fide address of their domicile please let us know!!! More likely than not I think this is a scam.

So this company called my sister in law and brother in an attempt to call me. They disclosed information to her that they are not supposed to. The called me from a number 800.452.3878. I was so scared and stressed out that I could not sleep last night. So I found this company this morning

They are legitimate lawyers that help with harassment from debt collectors. They will send a cease and desist letter to them. The lawyer I spoke to over the phone looked them up with the BBB and they have an "F" rating also they are listed as a debt collector not lawyers. They do not have any power to issue summons. This company violated my consumer rights by disclosing information to a 3rd party attempting to collect a debt. I do not have to pay the law firm anything, they would charge the debtor all the attorney fees and court fees - nothing from out of my pocket. The debt collector may even end up paying me money for violating my rights as a consumer. Call the Consumer Law Firm - they have been very helpful in putting my mind at ease.

I received a phone call today and it was from an unknown number so of course I didn't answer it.  My brother calls me to say someone called his wife's number (?????) and said there was a summons for writing a bad check out of Evansville, IN from Old National Bank.  I called and left a message and stated that I don't even live in Indiana anymore and have been out of state for a couple months now.  I used to have Old National as my bank, but ran into some issues and had to stop using it. I haven't used checks in years! If it is a payday loan, I have been in contact with them during my hardship.  This is crazy.  I am not sure how they obtained my sister-in-law's phone number!

I got the same message as described previously and they called my job twice, even went so far as to tell my co-worker that they had a summons for me and I would be served in a couple of hours.  I am doing some digging to see if this collection agency is legit.  I did in fact suffice to paying the amount owed but I got something in writing first via fax before giving any info.  PLEASE BEWARE!

These people are now calling my cel and work numbers.

Called and said they had summons to be served to me at my home or place of business. Say I'm being sued by my bank?? left docket number and gave (800) 452-3878 for me to call back.

Received several messages about having a summons in progress that will be delivered to my or place of work.  In this state you are not called about a summons, you are just served!  The name of the company that they are giving me goes to a marketing and insurance company, Rutter & Assoc.  This is NOT an attorney at law as they say!!

These guys left a message about serving court documents. They left me an 800 number - say a sheriff will serve papers in a few hours. They say they have documents against me for check fraud. Left a docket number. I called court house and they had no such information. From other posts and from voicemail, they sound legit, but I believe are fraud.

Caller says he is Mr Horowitz and is calling for Mr. Kenneth Morgan.  Says I will be served papers in about 1 1/2 hours.  Looked up phone number and is collections for payday loan.

They need to brush up on their scare tactics...they were pretty convincing at first but things did not add up. What attorneys office uses an 800 number?  If they harass you, dont give in...they are crooks indeed.

These guys told me they are attorneys with a district of attorney's office and are trying to get me served for check fraud.  Say they are working with attorneys at my bank.  They are really payday loan collectors.
