Tired of all the telemarketers bombing my phone on a daily basis. Can't we just take them out of the business? Disconnect them forever.

We are wasting out time posting on this forum!!!!!!!! Nothing will happen just like listing your number on the
Do-Not-Call list, N-O-T-H-I-N-G happens!!! Who knows what their real number is as they are usually calling from a fake number.... I called back the 800-456-4561 and you can't get a person without a pass-code!! I get call for lowering my credit card rates or getting a "FREE" alarm system, windows & siding, etc. I jerked them around once about the alarm system and the wanted to higher a monthly service than the national known companies! That is if the "free' alarm system really would work and if they would install it. I think they are just fishing for your credit card number. I guess they get lucky once in a while and get a sucker!! This @$$hole says they are from Florida and does home improvements. Why would I in NC do business with a jerk that says they are in Florida? You know that some do a spoof number and you never really know where they are.. You would think that the person could at least speak "fair' English???
Says below; Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply). What??? What another joke~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Very heavy dot accent. Hardly could understand him. His name is John. I ask what are you doing with a American name? Mumja should have been his real name.
Well, selling home improvement. I ask, are you coming from India to do the work. He said no. Ask him, why would I want do business if you are not doing the work? Silence.
I told him, I do my own work since my business is home improvement and remodeling. Had to repeat it twice. I Do MY OWN WORK. Understand what I am saying.

Home Improvement & Remodeling Group sells leads to www.homeadvisor.com, which is a part of Service Magic.

Mike w/ thick Indian accent calling from "Home Improvement & Remodeling Group" in Beverly Hills, CA, but he refused to give a street address.  Sell leads to Service Magic, etc.

Called and represented themselves as a home improvement business.  They claim they would pass my info on to a contractor in my area to perform the work.  Called the number back and it was some sort of answering service/gate keeper .

I answered this call and got someone asking me if I was the primary home owner of my house.  Did not sound American, but offered an English name.  Never say the word yes in any fishy-sounding call.
