I called back from my HOME phone (blocked or I thought it was) got someone on the other end who said it was MEDIC ALERT -- dunno why people above are tagging this as phone sex... asked to be placed on DNC list and she said she'd take care of it.... but yeah that was to my holding phone number that I use for sweepstakes and site registrations so I don't anticipate being removed from their list since I didn't call back from the number they called from.  CALL and ask to be placed on their Do Not Call List.  

I did the smart thing for now and called them back and they answered....all 5 of my returns so they
know I am serious...it is as they say "MEDICAL ALERT" and they ask me if I had a medical alert problem roflmao....
told her that yes I do cause I may have a freaking heart attack if they keep callin me on a no call number about trying to get me to set up with them for a cost so I can have a M A ....lol...oh then I hung up...put MA next to number so if called back and see who they say next ...two can play this number lol....Next call to them ended with saying I may qualify for such...I did ask im how does he know...did he talk to my doc? No ...may be a form I filled out...asked her where...she had no clue...told him thanks ...this phone was recorded for the attorney general of my state....and then i hung up...:)

Dozens of calls from this number.....we are on the Do Not Call List.  Guess they don't care!  How do you get these people to quit calling?  They are so annoying...I never answer but annoying just the same.  

Phone calls from 800 488-5606......I didn't answer.  How do I get them to quit calling.

Enough complaints to the FTC and these devil worshipping animals might finally be shut down. Besides phone porn, they are associated with the notorious medical device scams.  This is a tie-line robo-caller engaged in the usual frauds and scams.  A pox on them.  More calls grouped into the totality of nuisance, fraud, scam calls, etc.  What they really want is your credit card number to pay an upfront fee for either the phone sex or the medical device (which will never be fulfilled).  There must be hundreds complaints against these cretins on the web.  However, the 800 number is traceable to a block of numbers held by a particular company, which issued them to these animals at a registered address, where they pay fees every month to the issuer.

Unfortunately, as this is a major election year for Congress, local dog catchers, sheriffs, etc., we can expect an increasing number of these types of fraudulent calls to annoy us and try to steal our money and identities.  It is also an opportunity to vote out of office all of the firebreathers, tea partyers and other wackos who shut down the Government last year for 16 days, who still oppose Obamacare (despite the fact that millions of their constituents have been able to sign up for affordable health care), and who are shameless liars and embarrass the U.S. with their dumb behavior.  Do not donate anything over the phone to anyone, period; an open invitation to fraud and the countless bandits who will simply pocket your "donations."  IF YOU ARE IN A POSITION OF RESPONSIBILITY OR ARE AN ELECTED OFFICIAL, BE PART OF THE SOLUTION, NOT PART OF THE PROBLEM, AND CULTURE TEAMWORK AT ALL TIMES!

It is assumed that all improperly or incompletely identified numbers are from the increasing number of scams, frauds, tie-lines, etc. This is why everyone must contact their elected reps in DC to demand that they significantly strengthen the DNC laws, providing extremely severe dollar and prison sentences for violators, and give more strength to the FTC.  This is an opportunity for Congress to actually do something useful for the country, not just pass gas and throw spitballs at each other.  Any business must be properly identified with their legal name on Caller Id, not hide behind Not Available, Private, Unavailable, etc.  It is time to ban any kind of solicitation call, whether telemarketer, charitable, political, survey, opinion poll or whatever, plus outlaw any use of tie lines, robo-callers, VoIP,  or use of numbers not issued by a legitimate, FCC licensed common carrier (telephone company).  You can be assured that funds donated or authorized over the phone will mostly go into the pockets of the organizers, not to the charity or political campaign, or intended purpose, along with a $10 donation showing up as $100s in charges.  Never give a credit card number or any personal data to anyone over the phone. There must be a new scam and fraud being generated every second out there.  We need call control, not gun control!
