Called my cell phone and left message that it was imperative that I call him back regarding my credit card balances.

have been getting these calls for a while but asked for Sharon to call mr. Phelps. If I answered it just told me to call an 800 number . now the calls are asking for me by name, re: my minimum credit card payment. I do not have a credit card. Very anoying

First, this person continues to call my work # after hours and on the weekends to leave the same message about credit card debt.  Today, Monday I return to work & there are 2 messages on my voice mail.  Well, long and behold it is the same person, same voice two different names and phone numbers as mentioned above.
**First Call: James Libera, Measured Response Data, 800-511-7624                  
**Second Call:  Linden Hall, Channeldox Information Net, 800-511-0316.

Some how they have my cell phone number and continue to call it with urgert message to call.  Name Linden Hall.

Does anyone know how to stop these calls???  They are very annoying.

go here and register you phone number you can also file a complaint if they cal you agian after you are in the system for 30 days.

guy calls at least twice a week and then not for a few weeks. uses 800-511-7624 and also 800-511-0316. same gut all the time about credit card debt.  calling on my cell phone as well.

Cut & Paste from a forum I frequent, with my issue:

First, it's the same guy, and he's calling just about every day.

Second, he is calling her on a cell phone, which last I knew was still forbidden (please correct me if I'm wrong).

The third spot is where it gets weird. He is misrepresenting himself in the messages. Every time, it is the same exact voice, but he goes by a different name, and different company. The number is always start with 800-511-XXXX, and I kid you not, the voice is identical. And the message is the same, as well... "My name is *BLAH* at *CompanyOfLies* calling to discuss your substantial credit card debt, and the minimum payments that seem to keep adding up" etc etc.

Starting with 1Jun, her call log reads:

called back 5 times in a row and finally got someone other than the annoying girl. he said its been taken off, funny how he meither asked me my name or my telephone #.

keep calling though ive asked them to repeatedly to take off my number and i swear the same girl answers and then hangs up.

Frequently leaves messages on my voicemail at work regarding low interest debt consolidation and that it is "imperative" that I call him back.  VERY annoying.  Any way to get rid of them?

Number has called me at least 15 times over the past two months.  Tried and tried to get removed from the list, but no idea how.  Call back gets no response.  Calls come at all hours of the night.

Recorded message from the "National Debt Resolution Group".  Press 1 if interested in refinancing.  No path to remove number from list.  Isn't it illegal to call business numbers?

This number calls and when I let it go to vmail they never leave a message.

Called at 5:03 a.m.  Woke me, the wife, and the kids.  At that time of morning I expect it to be an emergency.  Woke in a panic.  Just a stupid tele-solicitor recording.  Hung up, called back.  Got a live person who promised to remove me from their list... yeah, right... we'll see.
