Hi, you have rights! I work in a bank, and by the federal laws of collection or Fair Debt Collections Practices ACT (FDCPA).  They are not allow to contact you before or after 8:00am to 9:00pm local time, you can also request them not to call you anymore to your telephone number, and they have to stop the calling, if not you can file a report with the FDCPA.  Here are the Prohibited Conduct list for collections here in the USA.

he Act prohibits certain types of "abusive and deceptive" conduct when attempting to collect debts, including the following:

Hours for phone contact: contacting consumers by telephone outside of the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time[8]

Failure to cease communication upon request: communicating with consumers in any way (other than litigation) after receiving written notice that said consumer wishes no further communication or refuses to pay the alleged debt, with certain exceptions, including advising that collection efforts are being terminated or that the collector intends to file a lawsuit or pursue other remedies where permitted[9]

Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously: with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number.[10]

Communicating with consumers at their place of employment after having been advised that this is unacceptable or prohibited by the employer[11]

Contacting consumer known to be represented by an attorney[12]

Communicating with consumer after request for validation has been made: communicating with the consumer or the pursuing collection efforts by the debt collector after receipt of a consumer's written request for verification of a debt made within the 30 day validation period (or for the name and address of the original creditor on a debt) and before the debt collector mails the consumer the requested verification or original creditor's name and address[13]

Misrepresentation or deceit: misrepresenting the debt or using deception to collect the debt, including a debt collector's misrepresentation that he or she is an attorney or law enforcement officer[14]

Publishing the consumer's name or address on a "bad debt" list[15]

Seeking unjustified amounts, which would include demanding any amounts not permitted under an applicable contract or as provided under applicable law[16]

Threatening arrest or legal action that is either not permitted or not actually contemplated[14]

Abusive or profane language used in the course of communication related to the debt[10]

Communication with third parties: revealing or discussing the nature of debts with third parties (other than the consumer's spouse or attorney)[17] (Collection agencies are allowed to contact neighbors or co-workers but only to obtain location information;[18] disreputable agencies often harass debtors with a "block party" or "office party" where they contact multiple neighbors or co-workers telling them they need to reach the debtor on an urgent matter.[19])

Contact by embarrassing media, such as communicating with a consumer regarding a debt by post card, or using any language or symbol, other than the debt collector?s address, on any envelope when communicating with a consumer by use of the mails or by telegram, except that a debt collector may use his business name if such name does not indicate that he is in the debt collection business[20][21]

Reporting false information on a consumer's credit report or threatening to do so in the process of collection[22]

I hope this information can help you with them, don't be afraid you have rights...I had troubles with them before on accounts that were to be removed from my credit report.

I used to work here, it is a collection company. All phone numbers they get are given by the people who had put them on their information as contact numbers before it went to collections. collection companies don't follow do not call lists as they are not held to a solicitation laws. look up the FDCPA (federal debt collection practices) and you'll see why they have a lot of these.

pinnacle has a few different offices so all of the offices might not have the same information in their files for wrong numbers, and they don't share information with other companies. so it's best that if you do answer these calls, say "don't call this number" if you're not who they're looking for.

here's a lowdown on the fdcpa if you want to read up a little and figure out if the calls you're receiving are really harassment or if they're adhering to laws. it honestly could be either one, some of the collectors don't really do their jobs right and i quit because i wasn't getting a promotion even when i was doing everything right, while the collectors who messed up all the time were still sitting at making $3-7 more than me.

This phone number is for Pinnacle Financial group. They call me numerous times a week from VARIOUS numbers. They're calling to collect for a t-mobile account. Typically when a debt collection company calls you it is via auto dialer. It usually takes a couple of seconds from the time you say hello to the time a rep answers you (the computer is connecting you to a live person.) Which is why you are greeted by silence when you answer. This is usually a dead sign of a collection company. Sometimes the computer drops the call before you are connected. Either way it's irritating. Another dead sign of a collection company is ?I?m calling in regards to a personal business matter.? Debt collection companies do no have to abide by the do not call registry, as they are calling to collect on a balance owed and the registry is to protect people from soliciting or people trying to sell you something. Its stated clearly on the DO Not Call website under More information - Information for Consumers NOT CHARITIES, SURVEY'S POLITICAL CALLS OR DEBT COLLECTORS. BUT collection companies do have to abide by FDCPA Laws and if they have the wrong number and you explain that to them, they are not suppose to continue to call. The FDCPA is also the reason they do not leave messages, as it is against the law for them to do so. I will leave this message on every phone number they call me from.

This is a collection agency representing Trashmobile or some may know them as Tmobile.

Pinnacle Financial, scam call from a bogus "collection agency", not us, random call from someone named "al", rude, "i'm writing this down you won't give me the info i want" I told him i was surprised he could write, and hung up.

I keep getting calls from this company on my cell phone. They keep asking for someone other then me and do not believe me when I say they have the wrong number. Also at times they hang up on me when I answer. Very annoying!!

Got the same thing from a very snotty woman at Pinnacle Financial who called asking for my partner.  I informed her that we've gotten scores of calls for someone with  my partner's name, but a DIFFERENT ADDRESS and a DIFFERENT SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER (and my partner has a very common name), and the woman proceeded to lecture me on the immorality of same sex relationships and that we'd better get our act together and start dating women!  (We've been together for three decades.)

Just contacted the Texas State Attorney General and reported them.

they asked for my daughter, when I asked why, they hung up.

This is a collection agency. I know T-mobile uses them.

Don't know who it is, but they are relentless and rude as others have already posted.  I just had to know who the mystery caller is.

It says TOLL FREE CALL on the text and then the number 800-513-6852.  I just didn't answer.

Pinnacle Financial. The woman said her name was Lori. She was actually very polite. But you can tell that her "business" was not legitimate.

Pinnacle Financial calling again.  I blocked the number they used yesterday, 952-996-0000, so they call today using a different number.  Relentless.  Again, it was a recording that sounded like a collect call asking for Rachel, so I hung up.  Mainly because I am not Rachel, and secondly, I will not accept charges for a collect call, just in case it is a collect call.

Called multiple times looking for someone that does not live at my address. This is a collection agency and they have no clue.  They pick someones name that is a close match and transpose phone numbers and address and continue to call.  They are completely rude and arrogant azzholez

This number just called my prepaid VZ cell phone. No one has this number yet (I've had it just over a year, but I don't use it much--prepaid and all), so this can't be for me.

I have previously had to straighten out T-mobile for calling my number because one of their subscribers was late with a payment.

Just called the line directly from work. spoke to a person looking for collections. if you tell them to delete your number they will.

I actualy want to pay  off a old bill from t-mobile and this is the number they gave me to call. 18005136852 pinnacle financial but they dont answer. so i dont know what to do. i need to pay this off.

This week I  got 3 phone calls from this number said that I owed T-mobile over $1,000.00 dollar.
I asked her:

Me:    what is the account holder's name..?
A:      I can't give you the name, it's illigal.
Me:    How about the T-mobile number of this account?
A:      I can't  too, but I'll give you the account  number.

  Then I called T-mobile and forward all the informations I have to them, they said " They don't have this account"  

So what...?

Got a call from 800.513.6852 and it was automated saying I could press a number to continue. I hung up. That same number called me back the next day and I didnt answer but I called it back and a woman answered the phone. I said someone called me from this number and she asked me for my number to run it through her system to see why I was called and she said, Ah this is Mike Smith and I said no it isnt. She said, this isnt Mike Smith? I said No. She said, do you know Mike Smith and can you give him a message? I said I dont know who he is, I just got a new number so it was probably his old number. She then said again, so you dont know Mike Smith? I said, No and I just got this number... She then said, ok well thanks for calling back and I'll update out system and hung up.

omg! they call me for a tmobile bill all the time! I have had att for a long time and before that sprint. I dont know how or where they got my mobile number but the guy was rude when I asked for this supposed bill... Called tmobile to see about this bill. No record of me, but they had my old cell number that was working... tmobile said they cant do anything because I dont have an account with them.! wish they would stop calling my private line!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep getting cell phone calls from 1-800-513-6852 and they hang up.  I've been getting these calls for over one year.  How to get them to stop?  I've written them letters, told them I paid my bills and cancelled phone service after almost 2 yrs of bad service, dropped calls and calls interrupting the call I was speaking on, bad cell service in my area.  Technicial support could do nothing and told me to cancel contract which I did.  I've been getting bill for $220 for cancelled contract ever since.  I've written to Senators who are researching cell phone contract cancellation problems and still they won't quit harrassing me.

What can I do to stop this?
