Forgot to mention. My travel itinerary pass was mailed inside a folded sheet of paper printed in patriotic red white and blue. On the front, the US flag cut in the shape of the United States with a super imposed image of the US Capitol Building in the middle. WTF? It looked for all the world to be a fundraiser from some congressman or senator. But it still smelled ratty.

I got one of these. Mine said US Airlines two round tickets to any major international airport in the Continental USA and a 3 day/two night stay in a Marriot property in the USA. They already have a room number (91068) for me even though nothing has been booked. The travel provider is Infinity Incentives. This looks like a big time scam.

I got the version "birthday" mailer promotion -- "US Airlines"  [no such airline -- it's US Airways] and above the name, they used Southwest Airlines logo but in black.  It says to call 1-888-472-8027 and says it's Reservation No. BDSP0612.  The "travel itinerary" also shows Seat 07-C.  The promotion says if I respond with 48 hours I will receive a complimentary 7 day car rental.  The reverse of the travel itinerary says Travel Provider: 1st class Travel 125 E Baker Street, Suite 120, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

Received a really pretty 'balloon filled' Happy Birthday notice asking me to call this number 1-800-514-2449.  No indication as to who it's from (no fine print anywhere on it)...  CONGRATULATIONS!  In honor of my birthday I have been awarded 'two complimentary round trip airfares'... etc.  I have the same seat as everyone else, but I did notice that it is a travel itinerary SAMPLE ticket.  My airline choices are US Airline OR Mexicana... (LOL).

I did notice that one the back of the 'sample' travel ticket is stamped "Welcome Center" with a New Orleans, LA address...

After reading here, I called the number and a person who identified herself as 'Olga' answered without identifying who the company is.  She confirmed the number I was dialing from...  I told her she needs to find a new job.

They mailed it three weeks after my birthday, LOL. Got the same "Happy Birthday" car with no company name, the same "Seat 07-C" on it, etc. This one was for "Two Roundtrip Airfares With the Continental US" and if I responded within 48 hours, I would also receive a "complimentary 7 day car rental".

Do people still fall for this stuff? I can't imagine anyone calling a number on a mailing when there is no company name and no return address listed.

Anyway, my mailing did have the 888-472-8027 number listed, so they are still using that number, too.

I got the same thing. "In honor of you birthday crap. The very firt thing it says is this call maybe recorded. Yeah right. I got a live agent on the phone and they ask for you "Offer Number" and my home ph#. I told them know because then they will start calling me all the time. I told them to take me off there list and the women said they were the call center only. I know that to be a bunch of crap because every company has to have some type of don't call list. It is a scam................

No one has called me...yet.  Instead, I received the fake travel "boarding pass" in the mail.  Gee, mine doesn't have a seat number, but my room number is 91068. That's quite a guess on their part as my 2 complimentary promotional travel airfares with a three day/two night stay are good for anywhere in the good ole' USA.  Guess it has to be in room #91068 in any hotel.  Do the room numbers EVER go that high?  $300 Grocery rebate. To claim this "special gift" call 1-800-514-2449. Address: Infinity Incentives, PO Box 3479, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.  What a load of crap. I could smell this scam before I opened the "secured document."

Honestly the documents from an advertizment standpoint are so amaturish it's rediculas. Most of the doccument looks like someone made it who has a very poor grasp of MS Word and doesn't even know how to use tables or do anything other than Center text. My 2 cents... RUN THE OTHER WAY! I have a father who is senial and would fall for this but anyone sane should not. There are timeshare programs that you can get drug into a sales pitch for 6 to 8 hours with no obligation and if you survive you can get somehting out of them without buying from them. This doesn't even seem to be that level of scam.

Hope this helps someone

This has scam written all over it.

It was mailed to my dad in honor of his "birthday." It's not even close to his birthday.

It said in celebration of his birthday, he would get 2 free round-trip airfare tickets and if he responds within 48 hours, they'll throw in complimentary 7 day rental.

Behind the "itinerary" is the travel provider: 125 E. Baker St., Suite 120, Costa Mesa, CA 92626

If anyone needs it they mailed me a flyer.  from West Palm Beach, FL the Permit for it says 3950.  wanted me to call them at 1-800-514-2449.

I received two "Happy Birthday" cards with "Two complimentary round trip tickets... 3 days/2 nights at Marriott".  Tel numbers were 800 514 2493, 877 547 7302.  I called the first one and they wanted me and my wife to come to an address nearby in Massachsutts.  They said it was a travel agency trying to attract new customers.  After checking on the Internet, I found it was a scam to get you to buy timeshare.  I got an email from them, they listed it as Global Discovery Travel and it came from Passportholiday.com which was under construction.  Googling Global Discovery you find the timeshare scam

The "FLY A US AIRLINE" comment, refers to the "fact?" that they will give you two round-trip tickets on any airline in the U.S.. However, it is a "clever?" play on words, to make you feel secure about the offer (because everyone has heard of US Airways, which sounds very similar". Also, the "ticket" that they provide in the mailer, is actually a Sample Itinerary, and it states that in VERY BOLD LETTERS. However, this does not take away from the "fact?" that they are most likely a Time-Share Program. Time Share things, such as this, usually require the "recipient" to be at least 25 years of age, married, and make a combined income of at least $25,000 per year. Also, from the ones I've talked to, in the past, they usually require you to make your own travel/accommodation arrangements, to attend a seminar "in your area?" where (after completion of the seminar) they will (supposedly) give you a voucher(s), redeemable for airfare and hotel. I imagine that they would require a credit card "as proof of identity", before giving you the voucher. Also, when you make arrangement for flight/hotel, they will probably charge you a bunch of taxes and fees (saying that these things are not included in the offer). Also, they may even enroll you in a "shopper's discount club", where you will get "discounts?" on airfare/hotels (with monthly "membership" fees, which are endless, until you cancel, which is probably next to impossible).

The best thing to do is, ask someone, who has actually been to one of these things, what their experience has been. Then, we will know what we're up against. I'd be willing to bet (as most people, here, would) that these things are scams (or, at a minimum, are more hassle than they are worth).

So, has anyone been to one of these Time Share Seminars? What was your experience. Thank you, in advance, for sharing. :-)
