Obvious scam, I have no balance on my credit cards so there is no problem.  If you get it don't worry about it.

Same thing. It must be some sort of a scam-I don't owe credit cards. If you do call him back, just scream into the telphone to teach him how not to harrass people. 213-732-2413 is the id of a call I received.

Got a call from Hugh Jenner at Country Research Corp  said something about my credit card balances, and minimum payment going up, some debt reduction program, and 'it's imperative that u call me back at 1-800-540-5398'. This was called on a number we use for faxing and running credit cards we keep a phone with answer machine with it when we are not using for other stuff

A Hugh Jenner calls with a swave voice message telling it is imperative to call back...  I don't have credit cards...  Just a debit...  This is nonsense...  Said to call back him at 1-800-540-5938...  I don't think so Buddy!!!  WHY Oh WHY can't this people get a life and a REAL JOB!!!  Anbd stop bothering people with NONSENSE!!!!  Don't call back!!!

another call from county research corp. telling me it is imperative that i call them back. when you call the number lindsey gets on the line and wont give you any information about the company.

i just got into an argument with someone named lindsey yesterday on the phone, when i called to have my phone number removed from the list. this was the third week i tried to have it removed.glad i found this site.

I just got a new phone TODAY havent even had it two hours and got a call on my voice mail from this Hugh Jenner person while I was setting up my voice mail !!! I too am one of those dont have credit card people detest them hes got some nerve !

just received a call from 231 732 2413 ignored it and got Hugh Jenner's "imperative to call me back" message. I was about to to tell them they had a wrong number because i don't have a credit card, but i googled  it first and found this site...

Hugh Jenner has been calling my cell phone telling me that my credit card balances are getting way to high and that I qualify for some type of consolidation program. I never return his phone calls because back in April of 2007 I filed for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy and in August of 2007 it was confirmed. I don't owe any money to any credit card companies. He must be hallucinating.

Got 2 voice messages, left after I hadn't replied, from Hugh Jenner at Country Research Corp from 231-732-2411 (the area code is probably Michigan). said something about my credit card balances, and minimum payment going up, some debt reduction program, and 'it's imperative that u call me back at 1-800-540-5398'. Called that number to get automated voice, didn't go further. Did a search with that number and ended up here. Not calling them back, or replying any more calls from that number.

800-540-5938 called my cell phone three times.
Total scam. I called them back and they wanted information no one should ask for.

just got a call from 201-215-1781, i answered and hugh someone told me my credit card debt was getting too high and i should call him right away. i did, to have my number removed from the list. the message said to press 1 if i wanted to be removed from the list or stay on the line to speak to an operator. i pressed 1 and the call disconnect. i called again thinking it was my mistake but got the same result. then i called the 800 number and waited on a rep who promptly slammed the phone down on my ear. dead serious. i could literally hear the phone slam i my ear. who are these idiots?

Just moved and got a new NH telephone # from Comcast less than a month ago. Have not given to anyone yet when I finally plugged a phone in after 3wks, I already had 22 automated recordings on my voicemail from Hugh Jenner at this number.  When I tried to call back some girl answers says she'll remember my number and hangs up. How rude!!!

Got a call from Hugh Jenner - same story as above.  I registered on Do Not Call Registry - I reported a complaint re: this situation.  

I called this number and was told this is an international company from Montreal and no one in US can do anything about it.

Got a call from Hugh Jenner - imperative to call back, etc. We are paying way more than the minimum on the few credit cards we have. No need to consolidate at a higher rate, thank you. Have to hand it to them, though - we haven't even had this phone number for a week yet!

THIS IS A COLD-CALL.  Over the weekend, Mr. Jenner left a voice mail on my unlisted work number informing me of "increasing minimum credit card payments" and that "it is imperative that you call me back".  One needn't worry if one has full control of their credit card finances.  If you do, this guy/group may not be the most knowledgeable to help.

I just got the same call.  616 980 2419.  I didn't answer...who knows???  I pay my CC every month on time and in its entirety.

this call was placed to a company after hours phone line to a help desk number.

Also, been geeting calls from Hugh Jenner with County Research Corp. It has to be a scam because the only credit card I have is through my work.
