I have returned the call to this company several times and each time I am told the party is calling is not avaible and none answer the phone.

I work in sales and sometimes, unfortunately, I have to send people in collections.  I have been getting calls from this number as well so I called the collection guy I use and he was unable to verify if I am in fact turned over by Golds Gym or if it's a scam.  Doesn't matter to me because I will not pay them a dime because they are complete liars.  Anyhoo, my guy said to say to these people "cease and desist".  That's the red light for these people.  It's actually illegal for them to contact you after that.  Although some do anyway.  And as for some of the postings about how it's illegal for them to call you more than twice in one week...no, it's not.  They will call you consistenly, 6 days a week from 8am until 9pm.  So, if you are lucky enough to get a real person instead of a recording, cease and desist will (should) stop them.

continuous calls from 800.580.3912 with erroneous claims that i am in credit collections. this is untrue and they won't stop calling. thsi is clearly a scam and harrasing.

i can't make out the name of the company calling, but this last call stated they were collecting a debt owed from gold's gym.

This company has called 13 times in the last 24 hours... They do not identify themselves on the recording but say they are a debt collection agency.  The recording states it is a message for Cheryl Jefferson.  I have called them back numerous times in the past and explained we have on one by that name in our employment but they continue to call our offices.  I have reported to multiple govt sites and nothing has been done to shut down this auto-dialer...  Simple annoying and ridiculous...

I got a call from them today about a canceled Gold's Gym membership that they said had never been canceled. The collectors said that if I did not pay by today at 5 that it would show up on my credit report. I talked to Gold's who said that First Credit does not report. Liars.

Call them back and press 2# and get the human to answer. She said she will delete the listing in 24hrs. I explained we have got his new number 60 days ago so their records are obviously wrong and to stop the daily calls. She did not argue but never apologized for the calls made every day. We will see!

1-800-580-3912 FCS is an unknown company who continues to call my phone number.  Can someone please go after this number and stop calling me. I understand that it is a Federal offense to call a number which is in the "Do Not Call List". How do they randomly come up with a number that does not have the person they are looking for and even mentions an address that is unknown to myself. Stop the harassment, I am getting sick and tired of these people.

I have requested these people to stop calling my number under the name listed, however they have continued to call my number, my answering machine registers this 800 number on my calleer ID. I have indicated to them that there is nobody by that name in this household. My number is in the "DO NOT CALL LIST" and I am wondering how they came to have gathered this number. Someone answers sometimes when I called back and giggles and chuckles when I asked them how they got my number.  How can I reach out to proper authorities to have them stop their funky business and to stop harassing me at my number.  PLEASE HELP.

They are trying to collect $700 dollars from me on a past due Gold's Gym account. The funny thing is I've never joined Gold's Gym in my life. I do have the name they are looking for but the ssn does not match mine. We discovered that the first time they called and said that they were sorry for the mistake.

 Then they called me again three days later (the same person - who's name is John Turner) and told me again that it was a mistake and that it would take 48 hours for my phone number to be removed from their computer.
  Then, I received another call yesterday from them (John Turner himself) and I reminded him that they were going to remove my number from their computer within 48 hours  ---- he just laughed and said that he couldn't do that (that's when I Mr Turner met a side of me he had yet to experience before. I cussed him out and hung up on him.
  Then, I called the 800-580-3912 number and got a Sean Lewis on the phone and attempted to show them this was a case of mistaken identity - believe it or not but the young man hung up on me.
  I'm so far involved in this matter that I immediately called the number again and low and behold, I got ol' John on the phone and wore his @$$ out one more time. I told him that If I ever heard from him again that I would make calling him about 75 times a day my life's mission. So far, I've gone a couple of day's without hearing from John (I'm beginning to miss verbally abusing the little cuss.)

if its a collector calling it doesnt matter if you call the FCC, a collection call has nothing to do with being on a do not call list. The do not call list is for telemarketing calls, not collection calls. If you owe back debt or are in collection, collectors have every right in the world to call you. Yes it sucks, but they have the right. And they have the right to call a few times a day. The law is they can not call you before 8 am or after 9pm in the state you live in.

First Credit Service 800 580 3912 left a personal message on my answering machine for someone who does not live at this address nor phone number.  I called them back to please do not call our number and leave a personal message for someone who is not at this address.

I kept getting calls and would just hang up.  I finally got fed up, called back and actually spoke to someone.  They claimed  that someone with my name owed Gold's Gym for a membership.  Only two problems.  1.  The one they were trying to find lived in Georgia and I live in California.  Someone should teach them to find the locations of area codes.  2.  The person who they claimed owed the money was born in December, 1912.  Are you kidding me?  This guy would be almost 99 years old and probably not working out, if he's even alive.  I assured them that if they bothered me one more time I would file a complaint with the Feds, as though that would help.  I was assured that they would not call me again.  If they do I can probably find someone who is more computer illiterate than I am and arrange to tie their lines up so that they can't bother anyone else.

I get these calls because of a Gold's Gym account. I dont have the account listed on my credit report but these guys call me 4-5 times  a day (automated) even on weekends. I have a case pending against Gold's Gym at the small claims court lets see what happens.

FYI a company can not call more than twice a week or it's harrassment and they can be sued..

I received at least 10 calls a day with this number, sometimes i would answer and it would tell me to hold for an operator. I just answered this morning, I told her I did not know this person please stop calling... she said well we are going to call back and hung up the phone.

I called the number back hit 2# like the automated system said. I actually spoke to a pleasant women, she removed my number from the system but said it will take up to 48 hours. So I can expect that even after 48 hours I will still get annoying calls waking me up 5 times between 8 and 11 am.

As I was on the phone with her I could hear other people in the back round screaming at people on the phone and being insanely rude. Is that really a job? To attempt to collect debt calling a million times a day and then have massive attitude, you think people want to give money to someone who is being a complete do***e bag?

The thing is they were calling for my boyfriend (ill kill him) and he hasn't had any recent debt in about 6 months. This company seems very fishy to me and I would not give them money or any personal information. I'd request a letter be sent verifying authenticity of the collection company before disclosing information.

This is number is calling numerous times a day and No one is ever on the other end...I get put on hold forever.
I called them back and I cant connected to a real person.

Have received up two 4 calls a day from 1-800-580-3912.  When I answer no one is on the line and it is becoming harrassing.  I have considered going to the police to make a report of Harrassment.

Same as last poster. Leaves a message saying to at least hac the courtesy to call them back!  They've got to be out of their damn mind if they think I'd call back. I mean really, let's make assumptions before even TALKING to someone. And btw, it was the 1st call i've ever received from that number.

I receive a collection call from these people sometimes twice a day.  They are calling to collect on an $89 unpaid balance from a gym membership my son and I had last year.  It was on a credit card that I lost and had replaced.  

I ask them to send me a bill.  They won't.  They use threats in order for me to provide a credit card number over the phone, which I will never do.

Those morons keep calling me for a few month. I wish I had a smart phone just to "ban" their number for good

It's a collection agency for Gold's Gym. Don't try to deal with these blood sucking leaches. Just call Gold's Gym and have them fix the issue. I had an account with them and I canceled it 6 months ago. They told me I have a balance of $100+. They never sent me a bill, letter, or even called me to inform me of a balance. Just call the corporate office at 866-465-3775 x4 and tell them they are idiots and demand to remove the balance or they will have a lawsuit on their hands. Worked for me!!!!

For all of you that have been called by this company they are a collection company for Gold's Gym.  It looks like Golds gym is struggling to meet their numbers so they are sending collection people after your late payments or canceled members ships without a writen notice.

I got a call from these people asking for "John Straton" saying that it was a personal matter. When I pick up, they would hang up, and sometimes they would stay on the line and I pressed two, then three, to let them know this wasn't that persons phone (Cell phone) and I remained getting these calls. When I finally got sick of it about two weeks later, I got hold of a representative, the lady was really shady and weird. She was super rude and asked whose phone number it was...I told her that this wasn't that persons number and that I had been getting called six times a day...she asked what my ACTUAL name was and I only gave her my first name. She asked me how long I had had my cell phone number and i told her it had been a number of years. She then went on to practically yell at me and say "Well, we have YOUR number on file, so we will call your phone company to make sure this is really you." How the hell shady is that?! So as soon as she hung up on me (and she literally hung up on me), I called my phone company to find out if they would give out any information of the sort, and she reassured me they wouldn't. She also put a block on the number so they couldn't harass me anymore. Be careful, don't give any personal information...the phantom callers refused to tell me who they were and what company the worked for.

Call them back using SKYPE since it's untraceable.
Do what I do.  I call them back 10 to 15 times a day and put the call on mute.
It's called pay-back.  If they are going to continually harass me, then I am going to harass them.

They constantly call, and leave no information, but they call at least 8 times a day, then I am going to call them back and do the same.

This harassment has got to stop!...

So, I would encourage everyone to call back from any other phone source than your own.

I call them back as well from an unlisted source, and I call them back several times a day.  They have called me and called me and called me.  When I call back and give them information, they say I am someone else.  

So I am going to harass them just like they harass me.  Each time they call me, I call back from an unlisted source, then hit 3 and then # and keep the phone on mute.  

And I do this over and over.  I have already told them that if they keep calling me, I am going to call them 10 times the number of times that they call me.

I refuse to be harassed by these unscrupulous individuals with no morals.
