Yes, I too am experiencing this issue. I see a class action law suit in the future. If we make mistakes look out, but it's okay if they do.

Same here. It's been a year, they CHANGED the name on the check to BOA after they bought my loan, put it through and got payment. This number is to nowhere. BTW, does anyone have a better Cust Svc contact? Even though we have a COPY of the check, they say it's impossible, no one would've changed the face of the check. Idiots.  TRY 704-386-5687   -- supposed to be a CUSTOMER ADVOCATE line. Can't vouch for it. Hasn't helped much yet but it's worth a try.

BofA Mortgage Customer Disservice is terrible!  BofA has had problems posting our payments for the past 5 months even though the checks have cleared.  We have faxed numerous bank statements as proof of payment to this number.  Even when we do send them proof they still do not post the payment.  They have ruined our credit record also.  They apologize and say our records will be repaired in 60 days!

If you want to avoid a lot of the automated phone steps when trying to reach "customer service" then dial1-800-669-6093.  You'll won't have to go thru any steps!

I believe BAC has a lot of accounts screwed up and they are avoiding us.I guess we will need a lawyer
to send them a letter informing them of their error and a resolution to our dilemma.They appear to be
in a confused state.

I was thinking that the difficulty I was having proving that I paid the money to have my loan reinstated was orchestrated. These posts are evidence of that fact. They're purposefully putting people through this runaround routine. I to have been through this with them for 2 months.

The gave me the exact same number and I have the same problem. They're avoiding posting a $5471.15 check to my account. They say they can't find the funds. I wish I could sue them but I don't have enough money for lawyers.

Same thing also happens to me right now. I have been trying to fax my payment document to 800-595-8797 in the last few hours, and the line is always busy. Their service is terrible! I can't believe a company like BOA provides service like this.

I'm dealing with the same situation.  Trying to get B of A proof of my November payment.  Mess has been going on for 2 months.  The number 800.595-8797 does not work.  Does anyone have an email address to a live person at the payment research department?

I just reported this "bogus" fax number to Bank of America and they gave me another fax number to use (805) 520-5019.  They said that the 800-595-8797 is a "real" number and that it goes directly to the payment research department.  I am still waiting for the fax to go through on the (805)..number - it is having difficulty connecting...hummmm?  Guess what?  I just received a "busy/no signal" report.  What does that tell you?  I am getting ready to report them to BBB.  This is ridiculous!

Same thing..bank of america's fax number. I have a checking and mortgage acc withthem. mortgage extra payment was done by me from my checking. When asking for a refund they say to send BOA checking statement. Y the hell do they need that..and giving one idiotic number which doesnt work...bunch of ...

Same here, Need to send BAC Home Loans proof of payment, and this is the number they gave me.  Gives "All Circuits are Busy Now".

I was given this number by Bank of America too. I was to send over documentation proving that my loan was paid, AND the number does NOT work. So, first the morons debit money from my account for the last two months, tell me I have not paid my loan and it is in default (even though THEY debited the money and my statement shows it)then, they give me a broken fax number to which I am supposed to send proof that they are idiots and made a mistake...GREAT!!!
