Your post helped me! Thanks. I had to sit on hold for 10 min before a cust serv rep answered. They sent us 2 free DVDs in the mail, Weapons of War & Ancient Civilizations. I had to ask the c/s rep 3 times if they were going to send us a bill or invoice us for these 2 DVDs. No he said he would not be billing us. These were free & if we wanted more we should send back the reply paperwork. I was afraid to open it. I never even had to give my name to this rep. I'm satisfied now. But i freaked out when i first got the DVDs in the mail.

I'm glad you had a positive experience with customer service. I get calls from people whose accent I cannot understand. When I asked to be removed from their calling list, I was told it will take 30 days to be removed. I receive calls every day.

If you give them any information, you then have a "customer relationship" with them, giving the right to hassle you with calls for another two years.

We are on the Do-not-call-list. Recently telemarketers are getting more aggressive marketing for stupid products nobody wants. I am not willing anymore to ask them politely to remove my number, because they are like the evil demon "legion", who is "many". I simply started to waste my time calling them back about 30 times in a row, hanging up like they like to hang up when you answer the phone, and on call 31 I tell them directly to remove my number that they see in front of them on the monitor that they called earlier or that I will call back 100 times more next call of them. Several spirits of the demon already stopped calling in the fear of their angry god Mammon, who they cannot serve anymore with me making any profits pressing out of my soul. Calling back numerous times seems to work, even it is pretty much stupid and childish, but I don't care like they don't care.

Magazine scam. I have never done busienss with them and am on the Do Not Call list.

I too called the number back and the representative was very pleasant to me and assured me I would not receive any more calls from them.

This is a marketing firm - if you are currently recieving any magazines or anything like that you would have been on their calling list. If you call the number back, (800-605-9204)speak with the customer service rep and ask them to remove your number from their calling list they will be glad to do so. It does not affect any subscriptions you may currently get. They will ask you for your last name, and your zip code - then they will verify your address (they will already have it on their screen) just verify if correct and then they will remove the number. The Customer Service Rep I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful - handled the call appropriately.

It does not affect any subscriptions you may currently receive. Very pleasant on the phone and handled appropriately.

I recieved this call while I was busy doing something and did not answer. No message was left.

These people called again today and I finally answered.  When I told them I didn't want the chapter books or whatever the woman told me "I am surprised because it teaches your child values etc etc"  I repeated I DON'T WANT IT!  The woman hung up
