I am one of the few that didn't trash mine and I'm glad I didn't! It's NOT a time-share. It's a travel club and you get AMAZING discounts. You can save hundreds and sometimes over $1,000 on vacation spots, such as hotels, condos, cruises, beach spots - and it's international. Although the main office is in Florida, they have offices in other states as well. There were at least 5 couples there when we were - all in professional career fields. Everyone of us bought the package. Every one of us. AND already booked our first trip. We travel a lot and expect to do so internationally so it was great for us!

It might not be for everyone, but it's really not nice to call something a scam and contribute to ruining someone's business - although you really can't with this company because they've been in business for over 30 years.

If you google them you'll also see they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and great ratings from their customers.

AND Dee, the Marriott corporate headquarters I am sure will tell you they are a legitimate company because you can use your discount at Marriott, as well as Hilton and other  hotels all over the world.

I actually went to this! It was down the street from us in Washington DC. We went and listened. They presented, just as they said a 90-minute talk on a Travel club. NOT time-share, nor a multi-level pyramid scheme. They didn't want us to sell anything. We travel a lot so we bought into it. We've already booked our first trip to Hawaii and saved a lot of money and are booking more vacations.

AND on top of that we're using our free airline tickets. The only thing is you have to give 90-days before your free tickets kick in.

It's not a scam. It's a legitimate business that has an A+ rating with the Florida Better Business Bureau which is where the main company is, although they have offices in other states, including Herndon VA.

The guy I spoke to said his name was Michael - smart enough to lie.  He told me they are not selling anything, just want to present a 90 minute talk at the Marriott in Hammond.  I emailed Marriott Corporate attorneys and gave them information.  Once they use a hotel or other intellectual property, it is a crime.

It is in Indiana now.  I called just to get information - they want you to meet at the Hotel Marriott in Hammond, Indiana, but do not provide any more detail than that.  They want you to make an appointment for 90 minute presentation.

Got this yesterday in Redmond, WA.  As much as I would like to take a vacation, I knew it had to be a scam.

Yeah, same post card as described.
Most people have moved to cellphones which by default have callerID... so they don't answer those kind of calls, at least I don't. And the scammers no longer leave voicemail. So they have gone back to junkmail?
Do I need to dust off my shotgun in preparation for door-to-door salespeople?

Received the same postcard in a Md suburb of Wash., DC.  Delta was the airline; "As Seen On TV" logo and Travel Channel.  Base on above posts, I trashed it without calling.  Thank you to the previous post-ers.

I received the EXACT same postcard in the mail today, so I exercised my due diligence and gave the number provided on the postcard a call.  Perhaps they are growing tired of operating in the Md.,Va.,DC area.  They hung up on me as soon as I asked to whom I was speaking, and did not pick up when I attempted to call back.  I guess they have gotten caller ID since you last called them.  Thanks for the heads-up!

We received a very similar postcard yesterday that read at the top:  "Travel Channel - As Seen on TV

Congratulations!  You are going to receive 2 Round Trip Airfares on Delta Airlines flying anywhere in the continental US and 3 Days/2 Nights at any Marriott or Hilton in the Continental U.S.

CALL WITHIN 48 HOURS. YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE AS A BONUS
AN ANDROID TOUCHPAD TABLET OR NETBOOK LAPTOP COMPUTER!

We have been trying to contact you (This is not a Timeshare or Land Sale Offer)
TOLL Free 1-800-613-0429
Mon-Sun 9AM to 8PM

Certain restrictions apply. Call for details. Taxes & registration fees and/or processing fees are the responsibility of the recipient. This promotion not sponsored by Delta Airlines, Marriott or Hilton. Recipient is responsible for shipping and handling."

Round 1: When I called the phone number it was answered by an automated response system that said, "Gifting Department" which placed me on hold immediately "while trying to connect me."  When a human being came on the line I explained to her I was calling in regard to the postcard received and asked what company I was speaking with, I was met with silence, and then the woman promptly hung up on me.

Round 2: I called back again, acting as if 100% vested in this "Trip," the woman I spoke with, who would not give her name, told me, when asked, that the trip was offered by Perfect Vacation Source.  She launched into her spiel, which sounded exactly like a timeshare. The phone connection was terrible and we were disconnected when I asked how this differed from a timeshare and why Perfect Vacation Source appeared nowhere on the postcard.

Round 3: Calling back, I am not at all sure I was getting a company at the number listed, but possibly someone's cell phone. Speaking with the same woman, yet again, I told her that I was a bit confused that this was not sponsored by the Airline or Hotels, but wondered, "Is it sponsored by the Travel Channel as they are listed on the top of the card?  Am I speaking to the business office of Perfect Vacation Source, and do you have a website for further investigation?  Additionally, the card states your company has been trying to contact me, yet I have received no communications from this company other than this card. How have you been trying to contact me?"  The most helpful woman hung up on me once again.  Perhaps I overwhelmed her.

We received the postcard in the mail that said "Fly Away Anywhere Continental Airlines Flies" promising 2 round trip airfares to anywhere Continental flies in the continental USA.  Also will receive a bonus 3 day 2 night hotel stay.  Claims this is not a timeshare or land sale offer.  and in small print, certain restrictions apply, taxes, processing fees, reservations fees blah blah blah....  The name of the company is no where on the card.  When I did a reverse look-up for the phone number, it actually is supposed to be a legal process server company.  So I called the number on the card, the name they gave me was Diamond Marketing Solutions (which is a different name than the person on the phone gave my husband yesterday).  So now this scam company is in Kentucky.  Watch out everyone.
