I used to work for medco and I used to make those calls and they are pretty annoying. If you declined or hung up, you will still get the call later on. Right now medco now express script TRC is desperate to meet its numbers and so it is including those who declined or hung up every time they re-load and they re-load every 2 weeks, You could answer the call and tell them do not call or even better tell your insurance carrier not to participate in the TRC. This marketing is a mess. Many customers are complaning that they already said no so many times and still they get the call. Even if you requested "do not call", you will still get the call. No matter how many times you hung up, they will still call you. They do not have any policy regarding any limits on how many times you declined or hung up. If you declined 4x or hung up 8x, you will still get the call. You could complain to Federal Trade Commission or your Atty Gen office.

We've been getting a lot of phone calls lately from this number.  If we answer, they hang up.  They never leave a message.  Sometimes, they call late at night.

This is Medco. They will not answer when you say hello. However after
receiving call after call day after day I called them back.
Someone did answer. I told them we were a business and ask them to take us off of their call list. He wanted to know who in our office uses Medco.
when I told him no one, he ask me to hold on for which I did for over 10 minutes. He never came back on the line.
Jeff in respect to you, answering the phone time and time again and geting no one on the line is something most people don't have time to do.

This is typical of how Medco operates. They threaten to cut off your meds unless you have them filled by them. I tried them once -- they took my money and didn't send the prescription. It took me nearly a year to get them to admit they had taken my money and then they refused to refund it, insisting instead that they send me the prescription, which I no longer used or needed.

Last year I received a letter from them, stating that my doctor had changed my prescription to a cheaper (and less effection) med. When I asked them for documentation of this change, they cited a date and time when they supposedly had spoken with her. Unfortunately for them, they got caught in their lie -- my doctor was on medical leave at the time and couldn't have spoken with them.

They're liars and will scam anyone they can.

Please explain -- since you know so much about the Do Not Call list -- why I am continually being called by these people. I have NEVER done business with Medco, my company doesn't use them and I don't have a private health insurance policy.

Medco is the scum of the earth. No matter how many times you explain to these dimwits that you HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM, they refuse to take me off their calling list. One caller admitted to me that they call whomever they want to whether or not they have ever done business with Medco because, according to her, "People need us, whether they understand that or not. Because we're helping them, we can bypass DNC rules."

Yesterday I warned them that all future calls from them will be reported to the government so they will be fined $500 per call, because I registered my phone number with DNC years ago. I hope that makes them stop.

The DNC registry doesn't work when companies, such as Medco, continually ignore it.

I have absolutely no connection with Medco. My employer doesn't use them and I don't have a private health insurance policy.

I have repeatedly asked these perverts to take me off their calling list, but they always call back. Yesterday I told them I was notifying the government so they can be fined $500 for each of their phone calls.

Perhaps if they rack up enough fines they'll leave me alone.

I have absolutely no connection with Medco (if that's whose calling). My employer doesn't use them nor do I have a personal health plan that uses them. I certainly won't ever use them because they won't stop calling no matter how many times I tell them to stop calling.

When they called (again!) yesterday I told them that I was on the Do Not Call registry and if they continued to call me, I would report them to the government and have them fined $500 for every call.

I hope it works, but perverts like these people think they're above the law.

PEOPLE!!! The do-not-call registry only works on companies with whom you have NEVER done business, not ones you have done business with in the past or ones you start doing business with. Just tell them to stop calling you, but they are NOT obligated to stop calling you because you are on the registry if you do business with them.

I received a call from a Medco representative asking if I wanted Medco to fill a presecription I had submitted to my local Kroger Pharmacy.  I told him, "no".  Medco billed my Credit Card (which they had "on file"), without my knowledge or consent, and sent me the prescription.  I immediately contacted Medco and asked how they got the prescription since I had taken it to Kroger.  I contacted my Doctor and learned that Medco had FAXed him stating that I had authorized Medco to fill the prescription and requested that he FAX it to them.  He did - again without my knowledge or consent.

We do have Medco and they sometimes leave a recorded message about an RX however, we've also been getting these calls where there is nothing at the other end.  I think they have a problem with their robot caller.

Typical Medco harrassment.

Medco has never left me a message, but continues to call. When I asked them to stop calling, I was told they would, but then I would not be notified if there was a problem with my meds and they wouldn't pay for them. So unless I let them continue calling my meds might not be paid for.

I have Medco and they call me to sign up for their mail-order program for meds. And the caller ID doesn't always say "Medco."

I tried once -- they took my money, didn't send my meds and then didn't want to refund my money.

I'm on retiree health insurance from my company so I'm stuck with Medco. But every time I get a call from Medco, I call my company's benefits people and report Medco. From what I hear, I'm not the only one who hates Medco and my company is considering dumping them because they're causing so many problems.

Sorry, I disagree with you. I have Medco and they call me to sign up for their mail-order program for meds. And the caller ID doesn't always say "Medco."

I tried once -- they took my money, didn't send my meds and then didn't want to refund my money.

Then they called trying to get me to change my blood pressure meds to something cheaper (for them). I always tell them I'll switch if they sign a legal document taking liability if the new meds don't work. They won't, but still keep calling.

They've even lied that my doctor has agreed to change the prescription. When I asked them for documentation stating who they talked to and when, they couldn't give it to me, but said I should contact her and make sure she wrote the prescription for the cheaper (and less effective) meds they want me to take.

Medco has never left a message, but continues to call. When I asked them to stop calling, I was told they would, but then I would not be notified if there was a problem with my meds and they wouldn't pay for them. So unless I let them continue calling my meds might not be paid for.

I've been receiving calls from this number twice a day, every day for the past two weeks.  The name listed is "unavailable" with the number 800-633-2662. I do not have an account with Medco...and would Never have anything to do with a company that has harassed so many of us for so long.
I suspect that they are also responsible for the recent "out of area" and "private" calls (no number display)I've been getting because I refuse to pick up the phone when they call.

It's Medco and I just sent an email to them.  You should too.

Go to www.medco.com and then down to the bottom of the page to "Contact us."  Click that and you will go to a response page.  Put in your name (why not?) and email address.  Don't worry about account # and the other info they ask for because your email will still be accepted.  Maybe if we bombard them for a few days they will get the idea.

I made the calls stop. You have to first visit: https://donotcall.gov and add all of your phone numbers (including relatives) to the list. Then, you visit: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm ; click on "Telemarketing, Prerecorded Messages and Do-Not-Call" bubble, scroll down and hit "NEXT" choose "Unwanted/unsolicited telemarketing calls (including Do-Not-Call) received on your home telephone" bubble on the next page. Now, click where it says "ONLINE FORM" and fill it out. They stopped calling me!

I also am on the do not call list and in spite of that continue to receive multiple calls from this number. I do use Medco for my prescriptions but if this were a valid call, I would expect a message. I do not answer the call but have them recorded on my caller ID. Every night at exactly 7:30 p.m. I can expect their call like clockwork and it's more than annoying.

I have not answered these calls either.
I actually have 2 phone #'s calling me one is the 800 # that on caller ID only says 800 service, but I'm getting another one different # that actually says MEDCO.
I REALLY want to pick up the phone and tell them off, but I'm afraid to.
I want to know has anyone done that, and what happened when you did
