This caller has an indian accent. Sometimes female sometimes male. Calls often. Either asks for me or my husband by name.Usually says its for a medical card and wants to know what the name of my bank is. Also wants to verifie information such as house number, street address and name. One time called and said it was an offer for a free cell phone. If I question them the answers don't make sence.

Keep getting calls from him saying it is Chase Bank 3rd time called in a month asked him if he is soliciting he said no this is a personal matter. I told him I would take phone # and give to the person he is asking for I asked for his name and he said Jack Thomas. I have gotten 2 calls from him regarding this and many others regarding other employees & inquiring about the nature of our business.

Received call from "Card Services" but no information about what credit card company they represent.  Not calling back--clearly just want to get information.  Will file a report with PA State Attorney General's office.

This is CHASE BANK.  They called form another number initially and then left this number on the message.  Research of the other number, plus comments here indicate it is CHASE BANK.  I called this number back and a recording indicated it was customer service and asked for me to input my 16-digit account number.

Male Indian caller in Reno, Nevada. SEVERAL calls in the same day. Each time saying they were college services. It could be card or college; I can't make out what this person is saying. Claimed each time that this was an 'important message.' Yeah, right!

Called on a Friday night after 8:00pm. Said his name qwas Peter Smith and refused to connect me to his supervisor. I called Chase who told me this was possibly a phishing call.

As the bloggers state on this page, someone with an East Indian accent answers the phone and asks for your credit card number, when I refused to give it to them, she then asked for my Social Security Number.  I refused unless she told me what company she represented.  After a pause she stated that it was Chase.  I asked what was wrong with my card and she said she again wanted my CC number.  I refused and asked why she was calling, she stated she was with Chase and wanted my CC number.  I told her that I recognized it was a scam.  She said it was not and wanted my CC number again, at this point I hung up.

1-800-654-9230, keeps calling my work phone. It is a Indian voice and states he is from a "Card Company". I had assume it was telemarkting but seeing all these comments, it must be a scam. I never had any accounts with Chase Banks or credit cards.

A man called my job today and told my co-worker he was recording the conversation and asked for me by name. My co-worker said the man had an Indian accent. My co-worker then told the man this is a place of business. The man told my co-worker to have me to call 1-800-654-9230 right away. He did not say who he was or where he was calling from.

MANY harassing calls from 800-654-9230 asking for someone who does not live here.  Each time, I asked for their names and then asked them to spell their names.  One gave me an indian name but then when he spelled his name he changed it to Raul Nelson.  One gave me Maria but refused to give her last name.  They refuse to give their direct phone line # and refuse to give me their physical address, city and state.  They refuse to answer my questions about what company they are.  I just tell them I need their information for the afidavit to charge them with harassing calls.  LOL   I refuse to give them ANY information and do not answer ANY of their questions.

I've been getting calls from this # 1-800-654-9230 from a heavily accented middle eastern man saying he's from card services and to call back immediately. He does not identify what card company he's calling from. Needless to say, I'm not ever calling him back. Now that I see he's stating that he's with Chase, I'm going to go to my local Chase bank to file a formal complaint and to advise them that if I continue to get these calls, I'm going to pull my banking business from tham and bring it to another bank. Let Chase use their assets to run down this fraud. I don't have the time or resources to do it myself.

after 4 months of calls from "HI, This is Erica, please call me back at 866-239-6098," today we started getting "Call me back at 800-654-9230" This voice is a heavy eastern or Indian accent as listed by other users on this site.  We don't have any late payments with anyone.  We have always paid all our bills on time, so that's not our problem.  Fraud could be or just wrong # some dead beat prob had the # last and we got it  recycled.  Don't know but I got 8 calls from this # today alone.  3 before 8am and 4 after 8pm.  I never confirm anything on the phone.  And our answering machine says"  We pre screen all calls on this line.  We have neither the time nor the desire to speak to anyone who can't leave a message.  Talk to us now and we MIGHT talk to you later"  This gets a big laugh from real people who hear it for the 1st time, but its useless agaist auto dialers and pre recorded message from these morons.

I received a call from a person claiming to be from Chase saying that my MC account with them was overdue and could I please verify who I am so that they can update their account.  #1 I don't have a MC account with Chase #2 they called me and want me to verify my info.  I might have fallen for it, but the person (who had a very heavy Eastern accent) kept calling me by my maiden name and had phoned me on a new cell #.  Not wanting to give my current address let alone my SS#(!!!) to this person who doesn't even know that I've been married for close to 10 years, I asked if I could call them back to verify that they were who they said they were.  He gave me the # 1-800-654-9230 to call him back and the name of Kevin Peters (odd name for someone with such a thick Indian accent), but this was after several minutes of arguing with him that I did NOT want to give him my info, I wanted to call back to make sure he was legit, he was rather "put out" about that.  I then called the customer service number on the back of a Chase CC that is a different account that I actually use.  I find out that I DO after all have a MC account with them (under my maiden name, with an oh-so-old address, and my new cell number) that has recently been charged over $3000.  They actual Chase Customer Service people put in touch with their fraud department and I am taking steps to get this cleared up.  JUST A REMINDER TO NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR INFO TO SOMEONE WHO CALLS YOU AND TO ONLY GIVE INFO TO SOMEONE AT A DOCUMENTED PHONE NUMBER (such as the customer service # on the back of you cc).  I think this # is a SCAM, BEWARE!

We do not have caller ID so I had no clue who was calling terrorizing me. I became physically ill from the HARRSSMENT from a man that I could not even understand because of his POOR ENGLISH! The first call I was polite to his RUDE ATTUITUDE...telling him the person was not here & I was NOT able to understand him to take a message.. Within 10 minutes he called again & that upset me very much because I had just told him that the person was not here and he was so disrespectfully rude to me.. I told him NEVER to call our house again! But about 10 minutes he called a THIRD time & I had him repeat the spelling of his name over & over & over with his POOR English I was told his name was 'Jems Luba' & the number is 1-800-654-9230.  I had to Google it to find what company the number goes to since I could not understand his lousy English. I felt harassed & terrified & became physically ill. I have taken our phone off the hook & feared being here alone since I had no clue why this person was doing this. After Googling & found this site I know now it was Chase I realize it was probably because I didn't have the greatly increased 5x higher amount then we've always had for years that they claim is minimum payment after they changed the APR to a ridiculously high amount. I had planned to pull out our paperwork after the holidays & had emailed them that a few weeks ago. How can a Company get away with such terrifying acts to customers?

Came home from work Friday to find 6 messages on our answering machine. We don't have caller ID, but all of the messages were "Hello, hello, hello ..."; 2 or 3 slightly different Indian-type voices, seems they couldn't tell it was an answering machine (oh brother!); never left a name or a number or a message. Saturday morning one of voices calls again. She says her name is Natasha Fernandez (Russian-Spanish in India?) and my wife's Chase account is overdue, I tell them she's not here, they ask won't I please make her payment for her, just give them my CC info.

It just seemed bogus so I took their number, 800-654-9230, and said we'd call back. That's when I googled this number and found this thread. So ... I don't think I'll be calling back, lol.

A call was received on my family's phone from a man with an Indian accent, claiming he was David Adams from God Service. Apparently, he was claiming to be a collection agent.

I had been getting calls from (800)424-5004 that is used by Chase Bank debt collectors.  They had wrong name and I was told to call this number (800)654-9230 in orer to remove my phone number from their list.
