I wanted to know how your experience has been? I saw their rating with the BBB and I wanted to find out from someone working with them.

Im not sure what payday loan debt assistance your referring to, but they are a huge SCAM!!!!!!! So please stop the bulls**t. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying convince innocent people to give their money away. Get a life. You must work for them??

the BBB  is a huge scam in itself....you pay $ to get a good rating??!?!?!! . . .. . look it up  they almost got sued for giving companies an "F" rating if they didnt pay the $400 fee they charge.....BBB is bullsh*t

I recieved a VM from an "unknown" caller who left a message stating he represented several plantiffs in a case pending against me for check fraud. Of course I called the man back at the phone number he left on my phone- 800-670-1015. He said that he represented "PAY DAY LOAN DEBT ADDISTANCE" regarding a payday loan I took out in 2007. What is crazy is I did take out a loan in 2007. He had all my information about the loan (accept that it was paid) AND my Social Security Number!!!!!!! He said I would need to pay the original loan amount- plus interest accrued- totalling $1500 to keep this out of court. Then he said he was willing to run a background check on me. If my background check prooved I have never been harged with check fraud before he would be willing to see if we could drop some of the interest. I said, "OK"...playing along. He came back on the line approx. 2 mins later stating I was clear and this whole matter could be dropped if I paid $550.00. In order to appease the plaintiffs and to ensure payment on these terms he would require a credit or debit card number. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving out my banking information. He said I could give him a pre-paid number if it made me feel better. I told him that I would discuss things with my husband and call him back. He said I had 24 hrs. I researched this group name, and verified through another debt collection attorney in the area that this was a scam, and was advised NOT to pay anything- file a complaint with the FTC- and put a fraud alert on my credit. I did both. Today- I recieved another call from the same people- "Gilbert Chavez" stating that I have officially been notified and a case against me is now filed with the court. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE STOPPED! I have enough to deal with on a daily basis without having to recieve threatening calls like these, and having to worry that some crazy person has access to all my personal information!!! What I want to know is who is giving them our information? THOSE people are violating a number of privacy acts and should be sent to JAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you also reported them to your creditors.  You may also want to put a fraud alert on your bank accounts and with the three credit agencies (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion). Never pay on a debt unless you first receive via USPS mail a debt validation letter and information which proves you owe the debt.  No proof - do not pay!

A company who is a scam has a A- with the BBB? I am looking into getting some help with my payday loans and I feel comfortable they can help. I have done my homework on them. I will do it an let you guys know how it goes.

This a legitimate payday loan debt consolidation company. I am not sure about their outbound marketing policies, but I did use them and they did a good job for me.

These people check out this site to see who cusses, and then they have a good laugh.

Educate yourself, your family, and others about spam/scam/phishing phone calls and e-mails.

If you see a name and/or number (or no number) on your Caller ID that you do not recognize, don't pick up the call.

Actually, they are not a scam.  They will call you, though, to try to get you into their program.  I had 9 outstanding payday loans and they have settled 4 or 5 of them so far.  No, I am not a shill for them and I know it can be annoying for them to call you to solicit business.  I agree; it took me a little while to call them back, but they are a help and watch your credit for you in case your online payday loan people give your name out to every Tom, Dick, and Harry.

this number is "Payday Loan Debt Assistance".  They suposedly "help" or "settle" payday loans that are out of control.  I don't need their help. But that's who they are.
