This is first convenience banks number to get your checking balance. At least here in Texas it is.

Got a call from them today, but was asleep when they called so it woke me up and I did not answer. They left no voice mail.

My daughter received a call from this number [800-677-9801] and when I answered the phone they asked for her directly. I expained that she is a minor and asked what they wanted. The lady said for financial privacy she couldn't speak to me without authorization so I called my daughter to my office and the woman hung up.
When I called it back it said that the number couldn't be reached from my calling area. Stupid they could reach me. Can we say SCAM!

woman caller insisting i give her my name, but refusing to even state the name of her company " . . . I'm not allowed to divulge that . . . " was the moron's answer.

Gail, instead of freaking out about why they are calling (now that you know who they are).... how about answer it. Then at least you can tell them they have the wrong number.
Gail 2010-10-20 23:32:50 Unknown
They called again. Maybe I'll just forward their calls to you (LOL).
Gail 2010-10-20 22:16:10 Unknown

Why are they freaking calling me?!? I do not bank with them and, yet, they are calling me on my cell phone while I'm trying to take a shower. What in the world do they think they're going to get out of calling me? I mean I am not the government .... an entity that steals from the taxpayer in order to give it away to the banks.
Maureen 2009-09-17 14:55:07 Unknown
It is from the First National Bank in Texas.
