I'm not even sure I got any phone calls (I don't answer unless I recognize the name or number), but I got the postcard from Mrs. Miller. I was sure it was bogus but was curious and Googled it. (I recently purchased property, too.)
Also got a postcard that said I could get a $25 gift certificate for Home Depot or Outback if I filled out a questionnaire and mailed it to TAS in Lady Lake. Looked them up; another water quality company. I hate this stuff.

I just closed on a house last week and I got the same post card. I am glad that I googled it looking for the information as there was no company name on it and it looked shady. I have received another card with a local number on it as well. This 2nd notice postcard asked me to contact Ms. Miller.

The company is florida energy water and air, the former Rainsoft Dealer throughout Florida. Former name is Discovery Marketing and Distributing, Inc..

As a new home owner just received the 2nd notice call postcard in the mail. It's concerning with no business name. When I asked for a manager I was told they were a home agent and didn't have access. Hung up called back and got the same agent who hung up on me. Called again and got the same agent who told me she was going to call the cops on me for calling her. Yeah scam up the rear and I'm going to keep calling til I get a corporate number.

Just moved in a new home last week - I received TWO post cards today - One said call Mrs. Miller @ 1-800-688-1427 the other similar looking card said call Mr. Grey @ 1 -855-310-7256 - they both said call between 9am to 9pm 7 days a week and both said that was their 2nd notice to contact us. I did not and will not reply to them, at all. What legitimate company, selling/testing water or whatever their gimmick is, is open 7 days a week from 9-9 and sends you a post card with no company name, no return address, and no clue what it is about? And, BTW both cards were postmarked from Orlando, Fl. and I'm down in Palm Beach County.

Not to mention, as a first-time home-buyer, this made me nervous (referring to the part where it says "2ND NOTICE" and "we've been trying to reach you"), I thought something had gone wrong and that it was legit- as I had literally JUST closed on the house within days prior to receiving this in the mailbox at my new home! I had not even moved in or started working on it yet at that time. That said, I thought being so fast it had to be someone who was involved in the mortgage, realtor, or title entities- and almost contacted them. Glad I "Googled it" instead. I have to wonder who provided this place with my information so quickly- I am not even listed yet on our county property appraiser website as the owner! Being so soon after closing, I have to wonder how they got my information...

Just bought a house and just received this exact same post card - 2nd notice, call Mrs. Miller within 3 days at 1-800-688-1427. They really make it appear urgent- how deceitful. They would be better off being more forthright- so it is obviously a scam. Thank you to all who posted these entries to help others like me- who set out to Google, to figure out the mystery postcard!! Now I will just throw this thing away. How annoying.

I'm another lucky one who got the postcard from Mrs. Miller. Also with no return address...
I recently bought a house and, after reading your comments, I think that maybe one of the suppliers shared my information. :/
Anyway, the postcard says exactly this:
------------
2ND NOTICE TO PLEASE CALL
Mrs. Miller
Recently, you received a notice explaining that we have been unable to contact you by phone and would appreciate a call.
(Please disregard if you have already called, thank you)
Please call within the next 3 days and ask for Mrs. Miller @ 1-800-688-1427
9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., 7 days a week.
Thank You,
Mrs. Miller (signature was hand written)

Thank you for your posts. When we all share this type of information, are helping others to not get caught by these scammers. Blessings!

These "people" called us seven times in one day. And they just keep talking no matter even if you say "STOP". And we just got the "2nd notice" letter. This is a scam. What ever happened to the better business bureau?

Just got the post card. Thanks for taking the time to alert other recipients.

I actually set up an appointment with them and when I hung up I started feeling like something wasn't right about it and so I googled the number and I see this forum and now im going to call them back and cancel the appointment and see what they say and let them know I called the police.

So glad I checked this out and read your posts. The fact that there was no return address or company name on the post card was a red flag.
| Larry 2014-02-23 00:31:14 Unknown |
Likewise. Got the same postcard with no address or company name. Figured it was a scam.

Hey Maria,
Not only are these people sending us the same post cards (we get 3 a day) they are calling us. I have bloced 3 of their numbers so far and they find a way to get through by using another number. THIS IS A SCAM!!! Beware...

I got a notice in the mail, that said "2ND NOTICE TO PLEASE CALL". No return address or any indication what this is about. It said to call the above number and ask for "Mrs Miller". I called just to see who those are, first of, there was no greeting with the name of the company. The person that answered introduced herself as Dreamer Rye (is that even a name?). I asked what this was about she said that they have been welcoming new home owners with a gift card from Home Depot and would like to schedule a visit to test our water. I asked her how they got the address, she said she did not know as she was just an agent. I asked who they were, she just kept saying that they have been welcoming new home owners for over 25 years or something like that and they just wanted to test our water for no charge and they would not try to sell us anything. I pretty much said that I don't know when we will be moving in there and that we already have our own water tester (which we do). Is this legitimate marketing or is it SCAM? I googled the number and several different companies came up. Does anyone know what this is? Should I be worried?
