Called and left a message indicating that Elmer (I am not Elmer) should call them back.  So I guess they have the wrong number?

It's Wachovia Bank.

Four times in one week (Sept ~12-19, 2008) unnamed female caller left instructions on my message machine to call that number back.  I do not respond, but the phone calls keep coming.

They keep calling right after 8:00 am with a recording saying they are a mortgage company and I need to call them.

Got a call from this number at 8:02 am. Isn't this a violation of the FCC rules??

I received a call from this number saying it was Elmer with Wachovia about a mortgage payment at 8:12 am on 1/5/09

I keep getting calls from this number - daily. It seems to be wachovia bank about my mortgage. I am not late and have NEVER missed a payment. I've answered and gotten nothing. I'm getting a call a day now and my mortgage isn't even late. Wow, do I HATE Wachovia Bank.

"Hold the line please for an important message for this number."  Held listening to music so I could ask why they were calling so early on a Saturday when most people were asleep and find out who they were etc.  Eventually connected to somebody who said Hello, I asked who it was and they hung up.  Seems sort of like this wonderful phone number connected to sleepy people together.  Guess they did not have an operator to connect to so they eventually connected two trunk calls together.  Bone heads.

May 21, 2008.  A message was left, which did not identify the caller.  Just a phone number 1-800-688-9224.  First of all, having gone through Identity Theft, I am skeptical about such messages left without identification.  Secondly, this is my business phone number, therefore unsolicited phone calls need to be reported to my company.  This is not acceptable.

Phone Number is from wachovia Bank. Possibly wachovia Mortgage.
