call from this number and I OWE NO DEBT! will call back just to see what the heck is going on then threaten them I'm calling the FCC! grrr PS: said my name and that I owed a debt...the call was from a 717 that is in PA ...up near Harrisburg area...but the call back was 18006903857

Calls every 15days without fail, as an Alarm without Snooze or Delete options....!

I really do think that Commercial Collection Agency is low-ball. It smells very fishy. There was a civil rights lawsuit filed against them in June of 2011. I am going to contact the credit reporting agencies tomorrow about my credit rating to be absolutely sure that I don't have any lingering debts that I am unaware of, but I certainly don't know how that could be.

I'm an extremely poor hard-working student and I am not delinquent on my student loans. I am curious to know how these people got my name and phone number. Until I get something in writing that I can contest, I am not going to take any action.

I have been receiving calls from a man who claims to be a debt collector but will not leave any information about the nature of the debt I supposedly owe. I have double checked all of my current accounts and I am up to date with all my payments. I believe this is a scam. He does have my correct name and a file number to reference. I have blocked this number and he now appears to be calling from a cell phone line and has tried to block its identification on my phone as an "Unknown Number." He calls himself Mr. Hobbes.

I keep getting calls as other people have from this number about a debt that I haven't heard of before. It's a nasty lady who ignores requests to stop calling. I'm going to do a report with the FCC now.

Commercial Acceptance Corp - Representative Kate Miller

Said she was trying to collect debt that I actually didn't owe.  She did not include legal disclaimer about attempting to resolve a debt and immediately got nasty when I told her I didn't owe. I disconnected due to her nasty tone.  I then called back to tell her she is not permitted to contact me any longer and she started screaming that I should put it in writing. I ended that call too - I'm not giving my time to some irrational, uneducated half-wit! She must assume that consumers don't know their rights!

Got a message from them today...heard from them a while back about something, asked them to mail me the information, they said they don't mail information.  (I thought that was the number one thing they have to do it legitimize a debt that you owe...)  She called back and left a message that said "i haven't heard back from you so I assume you don't want to work with us on this matter."  I don't need that kind of condescending half-threatening tone.  Get more flies with sugar than vinegar, sweetie.

Rec'd VM from 800-690-3857 asking for someone who I have no idea who they are. Bet they will continue harassing me.
