anyc...they do start their people out in training at $8. hr but after a short traing time they switch them to commission so they are just trying to get leads. I worked the sales floor for a short time and I am no salesman so when people said they weren't interested I didn't push it but I then worked in the admin. offices and they are very crooked. They don't even treat their employees right and have a LARGE employee turnover.

When companies such as this call you for an interview, do your research online!  I did and was called for an interview and went there just to see for myself and it was WORSE than what I read here.  Your first clue should have been the nasty building they are in, the people coming in and out of that "sales room" and their appearance and they have called me 2x the past year, not even the same person from a year ago!  High turnover, appears to be a scam because it IS a scam.  Do what you can as a past employee to report them to whoever will listen.  And don't be fooled by ads that are run by Manpower, either on CareerBuilder - they are aligning with these people on CareerBuilder and not even calling you they just forward your resume to Omni.  That is not how employment agencies are supposed to operate.  Corporate Manpower has wisened up and taken the ad off, CareerBuilder needs to wisen up and take it off their site.

I can't believe I worked for such a ruthless unethical company. They were being investigated by the Attirney Generals office. The outcome wad that they are not allowed to charge clients by each task they do anymore. E.g. They charge a client 40 dollars to write a one page letter that is already a template  you just have to put there name and address on letter. Now the Attorney General stated they have to charge by time it takes to complete the task. Well this will cost them skit if list revenue. So they decided to make all associates to fluff the time so if it only takes 5 minutes to type the letter to client they make you charge the client for 25 minutes. Stay away from this boiler room.

Two calls, second was by Tim "Hard Sell we aren't a telemarketer as we are trying to help people" Murphy. Claim FCC rules don't apply to them. Denied selling. They don't check DNC list before calling.

First call came up using a spoofed local #.

Run, don't walk, away from these scammers.

I live in the same town Omni is located. Know some people who work for this worthless company. It is a call center sweat shop.  No tax specialist, no lawyers.  Most a younger kids following a printed script.  Lots of yelling, screamin, and threats not heard over the phone.  They will pull you in and drain you of every cent you were promised they would save you..  You want to stay as far away from this group as you can..  They are simply rip off artist and Omni is a total scam.

I was contactd by Omni Tax Services after a tax lein appeared.  Alex--purely a salesman I later realized--called me and offered his tax attorneys and tax professionals to assist me in lowering my tax liabilities.  I was in the middle of an Offer and Compromise and had been deluged with offers by now from "tax companies".  Alex said that "his" company would have the wage garnishments released within 72 hours and they would proceed with the Offer and Compromise and the remainder of the paperwork whereby I would owe less than the amount the IRS requested.  I already had an IRS tax advocate who had been assisting me---and because of my circumstances---was going to owe less anyway.

Because he was getting the garnishments released (I think he realized that I was a little skeptical), he stated that the initial $2000 e-check could be post dated.  A later $2000 e-check was to finalize the transaction.  The entire procedure was to take 90 days.  This first check would be cashed after the garnishment was released.  Well, that was over two months ago and the garnishments are still coming out of my paycheck and also my husband's Social Security---for several hundred per paycheck.  Not only has the company tried to cash the first check, but also the second  check---without a single release of garnishment or any other progress.

I was then told that I had a "team" that was going to talk to the IRS agent who is responsible for levying my checking account and would be able to retreive that amount along with the release of garnishments.  They have now been paid $2000 and want more!!!

In conclusion, I would RUN away from these people who lie and do not seem to care about the consequences.  I have decided to appeal to the Attorney General and file every form to every person that willl be able to help put these people out of business.  I have since learned of their tactics and their record with the BBB.  They are truly scam artists and should be avoided at all costs.

As a former Omni employee I can tell you that the company has been around for a long time, how?  I have no idea.  You will never pay the fee you were originally quoted and it will be tripled if not more by the time you are done.  Their job is to rewrite the client for more money.  More associates have let deadlines lapse on these clients who put their faith and money in this firm only to be levied and to be in more financial strain than they were when they started.  It is absolutely ridiculous to think that help is on the way as they will tell you when you hire this firm. Being under federal investigation is surely not helping their business at all but they did get away with it for quite some time.  Please beware unless you have a lot of time and money to flush down the toilet!!!

i received a messahe from a Mr Wesley telling me he had great news for me and i had to call back by 2pm EST. no mention of the company, no mention of what the great new might be, they really think people will fall for that sort of ruse? I had already assumed it was a tax lawyer bottom feeder, what they do not seem to know is that the IRS are not that difficult to deal with yourself
started out quite polite but seemed to get short tempered as he left the number and extension. Maybe they are paid on a per call basis too
I too have been i civil court and seen the people they pay $8.00 an hour to scour public records

This number is owned by Omni Financial, Broomfield, CO and Vero Beach, FL.  I went to the trouble to research all of these types of companies.  Names, addresses, google research, BBB research, and in some cases supreme court research.  Thousands of people hire these companies every month.  I tried to be as impartial as I could, ?just the facts.?  Some of them have multiple locations, and some of them have multiple names in the same location.  14 Linked reviews for all the companies are at the bottom of the article.

If you want to read the article, google ?Omni Financial 800notes? and scroll through the results until you see:  irsbacktaxhelp.wordpress.com and click, might be on the second page of results.  It will help spread the word.

Got a call on answering machine from "Harold Oliver" at Omni Financial to 'follow-up on a personal business matter'.  Caller ID said number was 772-907-9032 and he left 800-707-8065 extension 9030 as the call back number. I've never talked with these Bozos before and don't plan to. I am hoping they go away -- i NEVER EVER answer calls from 1-800 numbers and if it is a legitimate &/or important call they will leave a detailed message, and not this cryptic BS.

As a previous employee, I know that they do generate leads from public records and if it happens to be a wrong number they have the telemarketers do research on whitepages.com to try to find the right numbers.  When they do get people to listen they transfer them to a sales closer, they then quote you a price to help you and then you end up getting charged that amount, plus they try to get more money out of you later and then IF YOUR LUCKY your tax lien MIGHT get fixed, they are definately a crappy tax firm. Its tax firms like them that give other tax buisnesses a bad name!

I got  phone calls from someone by the name John from Omni Financial and he was trying to "help me" regarding "tax problems" that he said I have. I told him that I have no tax problem and I don't need his help. I couldn't even hung up and phone was ringing, and ringing and ringing. In 5 minutes there were 16 calls from this stupid company. I answered the phone once again and screamed to this person (John)  that he has to leave me alone or I will call police. He was going on and on and was talking very calm, so he was trying to get my attention. He said that "no you are not call the police". I hung up on him and dialed  911 right away. Police came over to our house right away. I explained everything and police officer  called these bustards from my home number, wanted to talk to them and find out who are they and why they are harassing people. Officer called, someone lady answered other side of the phone. Office asked her if he can talk to supervisor. No life person came to the phone, of course and officer had nothing to say but leave a clear message for this company's supervisor, Rebeca (not sure if she ever exists). Anyway, Officer told me how I can act if I'll receive any phone calls from this idiots again. I think these people (like John or whoever) are trained to be aggressive and harassing people. I told him that he and his company is a third party and they intentionally bothering people offering their stupid service. Be careful everyone and contact to your local police or phone company if you are getting phone calls from Omni Financial.

Omni Financial telemarketers are first evasive, become rude and then more rude as they try to evade answering direct questions about why they are calling.

In this call they advised it was related to a tax matter...then just like above about who they needed to speak to.

Jennifer Williams from Omni called and asked for the owner of the company by first name. Said it was an "important business matter" (which translates to phone solicitation I really don't know anything). If she really did need to speak with the owner over important business, she would already have the names, numbers, etc. and know with whom she was speaking with. Furthermore, Omni called a year or so ago daily with harassing obnoxious people trying to make a buck. How believable is it that some verbally abusive stranger is going to "help" you over the phone?

Hes a do***e bag cripple finger f**got who has no respect for anyone who he forces to work double shifts to rip people off. but give the sales people a break... they are just stupid.

because no one is bothering to report them?

You have to file complaints with government agencies - 99% of those who post here will never file formal complaints about this abusive telemarketing scam - so the government can't do anything to stop it.

A man identifying himself as Mark Miller of Omni Financial called and left a message for my husband that he "had files he needed to review with us."  He left a phone number, which we did not return, because the issue was settled and paid up many months ago.

Today he called again, would not identify what company he was with, and was WAY too friendly.  I identified myself as the wife, and he started pushing me for information, but would not identify the company, only demanded to talk to my husband.  I repeatedly asked what company he was with and why he was calling and he got really obnoxious.  He just kept rambling on about "I know you paid more than $30,000 and I'm here to help you (We paid less than $700) and I finally told him to NOT ever call this number again.  He kept arguing with me, telling me he had every right to call, and I told him to f*** off.  He STILL kept on ranting and asking me what he ever did to me, and I told him I was reporting his invasive calls to my congressman and he finally hung up.
