Google FDCPA (Fair Debt Consumer Practices Act) and know your rights regarding debt collectors. This will tell you what they are legally allowed to do and more importantly want they are NOT allowed to do. This company clearly violates this law and it is a very serious law. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!!! Read up on this now!

I received a call from this number today. They said that a "complaint' had been filed against me and they were representing that party. That they needed to get this cleared up by five today or legal action would be pursued.  The lady was very rude and I hung up on her. She instantly called back and I did not answer and she left this very nasty voicemail. Upon "googling" the number I came upon this site. Everyone who receives a call from anyone like this needs to google FDCPA. This is the Fair Debt Consumers Practices Act. This will tell you of your rights as a consumer regarding debt collectors. This company clearly violated the law by "misleading" who they were. They claimed they are with a law firm and tried to make me believe an individual had filed some sort of complaint against me. THIS IS BREAKING THE LAW!! Please read up on FDCPA and know your rights!!!!

Because of the threatening call from Mark Stein (pretending to be a law firm) that I got on my answering machine, I attempted suicide last night.  My estranged ex-wife intervened (who I haven't spoken to in 7 years) and assured me that any legal action was not from her.  So, not only did I get to talk to my kids for the first time in a week, I got a very good talk which cleared up some very old, very major issues.

I got a call from this number the other day and the called stated his name as Mark Stine and he worked for a law firm that had the power to freeze all my accounts and pay check. This individual even called my girl friends son and left a message on his answer machine about this bill that I had to pay and gave all the details about it, he even went as far as to threaten this kid. I did give him my credit card number thinking that I was doing the right thing, but I only keep about 50.00 it at any one time. I plan on calling my credit union about this matter to stop any transaction that might happen in the near future.  I am also going to a lawyer in the a.m. and see what I can do about what this man did. Any suggestions???

FGZ in nothing more then a collection agency. Just remember folks to do the homework. Example: you have a credit card with Home Depot. The acct is closed because u owe them money. Once that company writes u off they receive a tax break for u not paying them. Now a collection company buys up your delinquent acct. And try to get back what is left on this acct balance. But because the Home Depot already was given a tax write off this is now illegal and you are not bound to pay this back in way shape or form. It is a law. Look it up.
