Someone named Evan Romero called.  He left the same message I've been getting a few of every day for awhile.  " I'm calling reguarding your credit card balance and the minimu payments that are going up.  It's imperative that you call me back.  You now qualify for the debt reduction allowance program......"  This is eactly the same line that each different caller says.  I've written to the government, but I don't think they do anything.

These people keep calling about credit debt reduction.  It is a scam and annoying and they hang up when you ask to be taken off the list. They use the same script.  "I'm calling regarding your credit card balance and the minimum payments that are going up.  It's imperative that you call me back.  You now qualify for the debt reduction allowance program......"   Edwin Romero and Wendy Parker are them names used when they make these calls.

I had 2 voice messages within about 3 hours of each other.  They had the exact same message except it was two different people claiming to be from 2 different companies.  Repeated - "it is imperative you call back".  This phone number was Edwin Romero from Credit Development Corp.  The other number was (800) 716-4271 and it was Wendy Park or Newco Data Incorporated.  I'm in North Carolina.  I have no intention of returning either call.

They keep calling me. I keep screening. They keep leaving messages. This time, Edwin Romero called. (Caller ID said "Northridge CA" Another time it was a woman. They say it's Imperative that I call back. Wish there was something I could do so they'd stop calling. I'm on the do not call list, but obviously that does nothing.
Ack, now I just got another call from them. This time caller ID said "Direct Solution" and the name was Sam Abbott.
I'm sick of this!!!

Called them back to get answers. They asked me if I wanted to speak to an agent about reducing debt. Obviously a scam. When I was on hold, there was terrible music...I could barely hear the music and barely hear the people on the phone. A lot of background talking too. Very strange.

I called them back and told them I was on the do not call list and was hung up on... So I called back again, gave a fake name, told them I was interested just to see what would happen and was left on hold. They called back and asked for the person with the fake name. I just hung up on them. Somehow, I got some sick pleasure out of doing that.

Same message - left 800-713-8059 number several times. No less than 5 agents hung up on me when I repeatedly called back to speak with the manager and explain that I am on the national Do Not Call Registry. Definitely nasty.

They called me, an automatic message said because of my patterns of spending on my credit cards I qualified for their services, and it was imperative that I called them back (two calls in a row over two days).

So I called back the 800 number and asked them who I was and what they knew about my credit situation.  I could hear the person breathing and they would not answer.  I stated at that point I confirmed they were a marketing call and I'd report them to the federal do not call list which I'm subscribed to.

After more research before this post, this is another instance of what I'm going to call the intercounty records scam, reference the phone numbers I found when I googled intercounty records and also found 800-606-1485, 408-651-8160, 702-939-1119 here on this website.

Have continued to receive phone calls from this number with the message "It is imperative that you call back" as it claims to have information about your credit card balances. It is a sales call. I have called the number back - to request that I be taken off their list. As soon as I say this - they hang up on me. When you say nothing, they ask if you would like to speak to an agent. I tried repeatedly to ask to speak to a manager or to speak to someone about being taken off the list. They hang up on me. This is a scam!!
