I got a call from them today.  Caller ID showed "800 Service" and the message was "This is card services; there has been a change in status of your account.  Please call back today."  I didn't call back.

Ditto ... I got one of these calls as well. Looks like a scam.

I was able to track the number and it is the BANK OF AMERICA credit division. They do periodic updates. I called BOA credit card services and they CONFIRMED to go ahead and talk to them. CALL you bank first to see if this is a call from them. NOw, at first, my bank was saying no, because I was calling the wrong line. This 18007260447 number is for FIA card services. NOT a scam, unless you have other issues with them.

i got a call from this # & said it was about my bank of america credit card...I dont have a bank of america credit card. Also i do have FIA card services & they stated this is not one of there #'s either...

dont give this number any information unless you did what I did and gave them bogus info suckers................. Hopefully they get denied when they go buy a house or there loan..

DEfinitely a scam. Spoke with bank of america about it today and they suggested I not call them back or give ANY information out.

It was saying "Bank of America". I had a weired feeling but I called them back to make sure what it was. It was closed even though during business hour. So I called Bank of America. They told me not to call them back.

received a call saying they were card services and that we would have a disruption of services due to a change in my account if I did not call back today.  I called and got a voice message telling me that they were closed for business, call back when they were open.  It was 1:45 pm at the time.

Got five calls from this 1-800-726-0447 regarding my Bank of America account which was closed three years ago. It is absolutely a scam ! Left a message to warn the scammer.

left a voicemail at our home number saying that our Bank of America Card would be disrubted if we did not call back same day.  Called Bank of America directly using number on back of credit card.  Bof A says they have not called us and our account is in good standing.  Seems to be a scam

Received a call from them on my home phone and I called it back all they said was card services. I asked card services for who they did say different companies but mostly Bank of America. I do not have a Bank of America credit card.

Left message on answering machine claiming to be Bank of America - said that if I did not return the call I would have a suspension of services.  Called the real Bank of American - said that they had not tried to contact me - therefore I reported it as fraud.

Just because they have your personal info and credit history does NOT mean they are legit.  Have you ever heard of identity theft?  Do you have any idea how much of your info is floating around in cyber space?

As was said before, don't call the number they give you.  Call your local branch, the number from the real BOA website or even the number on the back of your card.  Don't make it easy for identity theives.

hi, i got call from this number, and it seems legit, they had access to my credit history and had entire info of bank of america credit card.

I received an automated call from this number and it turns out that my account is also fine. There are no problems with my account and I was asked to report this fraud to the Bank of America phone number 800.889.3967. Do not enter ANY of your personal information as it was requested.

THIS IS A SCAM!! this number called my phone 3 times then finally left an automated message on my voicemail saying that they were from Bank of America. The message said my full name in a machine generated voice and that there had been a "change to the status" of my account and that I should call them immediately "to avoid disruption to valuable services". I called Bank of America directly using the 888 number on their website, and a real rep verified that there was nothing wrong with my account and that as far as they could tell, no one from Bank of America was trying to contact me. Always play it smart and contact the company directly when in doubt. If only for peace of mind!

Claimed to be Bank of America. Card Services. Had voice menu with BOA sounds and voice. Had my current CC balance. Checking employment.  But asked about my other assets too. Curious! Called them back and they stated they were "card services". But would not say for which bank until I gave them my phone number.

Maybe legit third party doing out sourced work for BOA.

knowing its a scam I called back to see who they were.  They said they were not available and to call back during business hours.  8-10pm.  It is now 6pm.  Someone previously mentioned Bank of America.  I don't have Bank of America.  They said they were "Card Services".  Right off  the bat that tells you they are not legit.
