Just received a call from this number wanting to complete the application for the credit card that I had applied for about three weeks ago ! NO SUCH LUCK, since I have not applied for a credit card anywhere !!!!! He tried to trick me into it anyway saying maybe my wife had thrown away the letter they had sent confirming the application !!! He kept asking me for to verify my account info for Regions Bank, so BEWARE PEOPLE!!!

Received a call from this number. It did not identify as Regions Bank. Caller ID said "Toll Free Call." I do not answer calls without identity. It's a waste of my time. Regions IS one of my banks, and their office is only a mile away. I suspect, if they really were trying to contact me, they would do it in a businesslike and proper manner... like identifying who was calling.

I just had a girl call from that number said her name was "Paris" from Regions Bank.
She knew my name and asked if I would like $150 to open a Regions checking account. I had an account with regions about 5 years ago. I just said no thank you and hung up.

The number my caller ID is showing is 118007344667.  Not sure what 11 does but it doesn't match the 18007344667 that it should be.  Could this be spoofing?  Caller wants to know if the recent product is satisfactory and asks if there are any problems or questions.  Personally since I don't right off the hand know my banks telephone number, it would seem risky for them to be calling someone they think is me to discuss my account information or for me to discuss that I even have an account with their bank confirming to a would be scammer that they would not be waisting time on a lead captured from some info database so that they could begin hacking my account.  Not happy with Regions if this is there practice.  I hope they read this and stop this practice as it is risky.  I should receive no unsolicited calls from my bank period.

It's an auto-caller from Regions bank to handle whatever customer service messages they think they need to push.  I got one with a recorded message about a change I already knew was about to happen in an account.  No action was necessary and I have every reason to believe it's completely legit.

Of course there's no reason a scammer couldn't spoof that number if they chose to.

REGIONS has a web page titled Fraud Protection. Part of the content on that page reads:
"Computer Security Tips:
When banking online, always make sure your browser address bar reads https://www.regions.com/ before you begin the login process. (This includes any link that is provided in an email)
Never respond to an email requesting that you provide personal information to verify an account or to re-activate that account or service.
Remember, Regions does not contact customers via email requesting a customer to provide personal secure information, such as a PIN or passwords."

I received one of these emails asking for password verification and Region's own web site identifies this email as a scam.

It is so easy for these scumbags to display whatever phone number they want. So you call it back and find that it appears legit but it is not. Do not get fooled and protect yourself. If you answer do not give your name and just ask who are you calling they will hang up in an heartbeat.

I called Regions back, I would not answer the phone.  They said no one from the bank called and there was nothing wrong with my account and had no idea who would be calling.  Could be someone using Regions number to try to get your info.

This number called me four times today. I've never been affiliated with this bank. I called and the first thing the live person asked me for was my social security number. I said "hell, no!" and hung up.

WTF bash0001?! Obama being in the White House has nothing to do with you getting phone calls from your bank! Don't share your phone number if you don't want to receive a call! Who knows if they're calling because you're late on your CC payment, or overdrafted! How is that Obama's fault??? STFU and pay your bills!

I have been getting weekly calls from this number and it is Regions Bank automated system.  I tried several times to get through the automated system to finally get a hold of a live person.  I finally got onel and asked that I had never had a relationship with Regions and can't understand why they were calling me.  If it was collections, nobody was ever on the other end to answer me back.  If it was a solicitions call, I am on the do not call list.  They took my phone number and put it on their no solicitations list.  Hopefully the calls will stop.  I have answered the phone everytime and never have had a person on the other end, so I don't know what's going on with it.

I got the call, answered the questions and immediately hated myself.  I did call my Regions bank branch manager and she verified that it was Regions 1-800- (r)7(e)3 (g)4 (i)4 (o)6 (n)6 (s)7.  Then I felt stupid.  But it's perfectly legit!

Between the 800-734-4667 and 205-560-2335, I received 22 calls one night between 9:00 and 9:30.  It's rediculous.  I answered the first couple and there wasn't anyone there.  I realize that my number must be on an automatic dialer, but the bank should not be calling that late and that many times.  Plus, if they really wanted to get in touch with me, there should be someone on the other end.  It's unprofessional.  I have counted over 100 calls from them total.  I will be blocking these numbers.

I got on the national "Do Not Call" list for a reason.  I do not want to be called by anyone that is not my family.  I have caller ID for a reason.  These companies, and there are now more than the one, are becoming bolder about calling you with out regard as to whether you are on the list or not.  They don't care anymore.  They began calling soon after Obama took the White House.

They use an auto dialer to call their customers, sometimes if you do not pick up in a timely manner the auto dialer automatically hangs up.

Quit being so paraniod and answer your phone when it rings!

This is the number for Regions bank.  It is their customer service number calling to do follow up on customer care for account holders.  They never ask for any peronal information or banking information.  The only thing they VERIFIED is who I was and which branch I utlized to give feedback for quality control.
