E resivido llamadas de este mismo numero amenasandome que son del area de deportacion inmediata y tratan de sacar informacion sobre mi y un amigo.

I should state that this number has been reported to the real US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for committing an immigration scam. It's horrible to think that there are people out there who commit these types of crimes!

This number was reported to my office, the office of Congressman Luis V. Gutierrez in Chicago, IL, today.  A constituent called to report that she received a phone call from 'Christian Smith' at the "Department of Deportation" and he told her that she would be deported if she didn't stay on the line and then put her on hold. She hung up and he called her again.  When you call the number they represent themselves as US Citizenship and Immigration Services.

I was dispatched to a call where a Hispanic lady told me that these people called her to offer her an English speaking program that included books, audio and other assorted materials.  She "bought" these items and sent over 1,700.00 dollars to these criminals by money grams.  They then proceeded to threaten her by telling her she had a warrant and they were coming after her if she didn't sent another 600.00 dollars.

They represented themselves to be the Department of Immigration this time.  I have called the number and it sounds like an official answering system, however IT IS NOT.  

Definitely a SCAM.

Note * some of the names they used were as follows: Christian Smit, Ana Gonzalez, Brian Mendez and the money was sent to "CARLOS GALVEZ" in Panorama City, CA  supposedly.

Yeah, I googled Senior Medical Group in Atlanta, GA, which is what information they gave me by phone, and ended up here, looking to see if these people were a scam, which I assumed they were. They have called twice-don't know if that is the number but the name sticks out. I intercepted the calls and asked them a lot of questions. When I asked for their website they hung up on me and in the background I heard a lot of voices like the call was coming from a large calling center. Surely some governmental authority can find out who they are based on their phone # and find there address to stop them.

Judge Dredd sez to Ruth- Sorry this happened. Who has power of attorney for your mother? With her having dementia your/her doctor can advise you on how to start. I strongly suggest you start on this now!

My mother who has demenita got called Cost 447.34  out of cking account.
tried to get it stopped.
Surely there is something that can be done w/these companys
she is on the do no call list
I have tried to stop all the junk mail I can.
What else can be done????????

We had to change my mom's checking account also, now she is scared they are going to be mad at her and try to hurt her!!

My mother received a phone call from Maria at Senior Medical Group in Atlanta, GA. Maria verified her address and bank account number. She spoke as if she was employed my medicare and this was not a option.  Also, told her she would be receiving two checks...$400+ and $500+. When my mom realized it was a scam she hung up...now Maria is calling her again. My mom is scared!!

This is a Scam.  BEWARE  !!

The same scenario happened to my mom, several days ago...  
were there any illegal withdrawals from the accounts of those who gave the information?

same as above, my poor mother was called by these people and she also gave up her bank info!! We had to change her bank account# and her direct deposits looks like someone could stop this!!

WE TRIED CALLING BACK AND THIS LADY WON'T STOP YELLING AT ME.  TOLD ME THAT PEOPLE HERE IN US ARE USELESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL WHEN I SAID THIS WAS A SCAM.  SHE SAID THAT IF I THOUGHT IT WAS A SCAM TO STOP CALLING.  PLEASE, PLEASE HELP GET THIS STOPPED!!

my customer got a call from these people and she came in to talk to me here at the bank. I tried calling this number back and this extremely rude lady answered and she told me her system was down that it would be back up in 10 min.  I called right back and she told asked me what part of 10 min did i not understand.  I asked why they were doing this, this is a scam, she said that it was fine to think what i wanted and said have a great day and hung up on me.  THIS HAS TO STOP!

They called my elderly mother and stated it was Social Security and Medicare and that they needed to get her bank account info so they could combine her benefits onto one account.  Much to my dismay she relinquished her bank account number.  They also gave her this number and when she called it back, she was answered by a female "supervisor" and was asked how old she was.  She stated her age (92) and asked for verification of the previous call.   The supervisor stated that she would not be affected by the change and that her info would be deleted.  So now we have to put a stop on her bank account, stop her direct deposits, etc. and set up a new bank account.  I am reporting this to the local police and to Social Security.  THIS 'CRAP" HAS GOT TO STOP.  STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF OUR SENIOR CITIZENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same story as above. The callers claimed she needed new medical cards they read her bank routing number to her and she trusted them and gave them the rest of the ACCT number. I came home in time to hear her talking to them and took the phone when I questioned them they hung up. Shw said they were rood and transferred her 2 times to "other " dept.

Just as people mentioned above.....my mother got a call intimidating her to give over her bank account number. I am appalled and determined to find them. Please post that you are willing to help find them and stop this elder abuse.

My elderly mother got a call from this number and they claimed they were from Medicare or Social Security. When she did not volunteer her Social Security number as they requested, they read off her checking account number to her. She then trusted them and gave them her social security number.
