Charter asks for a customers call back phone number. So the guest could accidently leave the wrong number. For me I left my Stockton phone number for service in San Diego. If I gave out the wrong Stockton phone number, someone in the 209 area code would be getting this call instead. So it's possible if you're getting a call but you never ordered service, another person put in your phone number wrong.

Robo call reminding me of my Charter Internet repair appointment. It would have been answered if it didn't just say "Unavailable" for the callers name.

This was  Charter Communication with an auto respond to my appt.  Left message after so know it was them.

Call was from Charter Cable, verifying appmt. What is frustrating is that Caller id just shows "Toll Free Caller".  We do not answer calls from callers that do not identify themselves. We are tired of sales calls, political ads over the phone, charities calling, etc. When a call comes in un-identified, I sometimes search on the Internet to see if I can identify who called. That's how I got here. I wish companies such as Charter, a telephone company to boot, would do a better job at identifying themselves.  It should be required by law.

Unsolicited call about an appointment with Charter.  Never heard of them or dealt with them before and certainly didn't have an appointment.

I never answer 1-800 calls, so I didn't pick up this one.
It left a message though, and I just listened to it.
It was from Charter kindly reminding an appointment with them tomorrow morning.
However, I never contacted Charter in any way, and I never gave my number to any company related with Charter.
It's only a mistake. They told me they would call back before the appointment, but I'll be in class.
I hope nobody will get his service cancelled.

Received a call from this number confirming a scheduled apt with Charter.  Funny the number showed on the caller ID as "invalid number."  I wasn't going to answer it because of that.  My husband picked it up though.  Good thing he did, I guess if you don't answer, they assume you want to cancel.

Auto robo call allegedly from Charter Communications. Unavailable was the name that was shown on Caller ID. Recorded message was regarding an alleged appointment scheduled for the following day. If it was Charter, Charter would have to have entered an incorrect number into its robo dialer because Charter services are not offered in my area.

It is Charter....left message about a service call I had scheduled.

Thanks! I picked it up but accidentally hung up right away. I signed up for charter so sounds right!
