I was also charged $69.99 on my credit card. I'm not sure how theygot my credit card number since we applied for financial aid on the official fafsa.ed.gov website which says that it's a free application. When I called this 800# they told me I signed up for the "Gold" service. When I asked to cancel and a credit, they tried to take me out of it. Needless to say I should be getting a $69.99 credit on my credit card.

I like Deborah have been charged 69.99 by the company associated with this number. I am a student but did not authorize this FAFSA prep, heck the form is so easy to fill out my 3 year old cousin could do it, certainly do not need to pay anyone to do it for me.

The company that is attached to this number charged my checking account for $69.99 for FAFSA prep. I am not eligible for student loans and did not authorize this transaction.
