some body left a voice mail saying that they were offering medical insurance for me and my family for $3 per day plus they called my cell phone
HatesCellSpam 2011-06-06 20:58:23 Unknown
ARGH!!! I hate cell spam! Of course I won't be answering something from a 1-800 number--when was the last time one of those people bothered calling you about something worthwhile? Why can't this be stopped?!?!
bob turner 2011-06-06 20:58:23 Unknown
this call came to me on my cell. They warned my that my vehicle warranty was about to expire (means they don't know if I own a bike or a semi).
Joe 2011-06-06 20:58:23 Unknown
Insurance related. They hand up when we return the call.
champi 2011-06-06 20:58:23 Unknown
soo annoying, they call me at least twice a week, in, like myron said, spanish, which i too dont speak. its been happening for more than 4 months now. VERY frustrating.

I went to FCC.org and filed an on-line complaint. The minimum fine for each violation of the DNC registry is 11,000.00 per call. We can make them stop.
Bob 2011-06-06 20:58:23 Unknown
Me too. The $3 per day insurance scam. These guys should be serving jail time and should have a life time prohibition against using the phone except in an emergency.
I am, of course, on the DNC database.

Just one of many phone numbers that call my cell phone. Also get calls from 678-466-2999 (Georgia AC), 208-991-1186 (Idaho AC) and 240-560-2138 (Maryland AC) all about lowering my credit card rate, warning me about my auto warranty's expiration and cheap meds. No one has my cell phone number; I just have it in case of emergencies and only use it when I'm nearing top-up time and I have too many minutes left!!!
myron 2011-06-06 20:58:23 Unknown
They call my cell phone with a recorded message in Spanish (I don't speak Spanish) I pressed 1 and got a live operator that hung up on me when I said that I do not speak Spanish.

Calls saying my car warrantee is expiring. It is a recorded message.
Peter 2009-05-08 22:33:58 Unknown
THIS IS HOW YOU SCREW THEM:
Call their toll-free number from a public pay-phone booth.
Everytime they pick up the phone (which occurs even when you hear a pre-recorder message), they have to reimburse the pay-phone company more than $0.50.
It's very gratifying to know that they have to pay for hearing your complaints.
The more you call, the more money they loose...
Their toll-free number is: 877-827-7861

I got this call on my cell phone, which is prepaid. So the prior message about getting a prepaid phone to stop the telemarketers, doesn't work!! Same as the others, about a medical insurance plan. I listed my cell phone on the Do Not Call Registry. I rarely give the number out, so not sure how they got it.

I got a call from this same guy--Samuel Parker saying he was from the National Healthcare Association about me being pre-qualfied for insurance. But the number is different: 877-827-7861

Remember, report all cell phone spam to the FCC. It's easy to do and it's the only way to get them arrested.

Health Insurance. Live call from "Stan Paker" left message to call him at 1-877-827-7861. Cell phone recorded call coming from 1-800-764-7653.

Phone Number Report: Well, it looks like many people within American communities complained about 1-800-764-7653, but nothing happens to them. This is so scary because their identity to many American communities is unknown that can lead to risky to America at large. The current federal government should do something to stop this coward act before a serious one happens to America. My question is if they are decency, they should not have hidden their identity from American communities? Why it is so easy for them to hide their identity? What are their motives behind those coward act phone calls? Americans and the government please fight the unknown to prevent another one hits. May God Bless America.

Rec'd a call from this number on my WORK PHONE. At work. I work in a call center and I wasn't expecting to get a call from another call center, but that's exactly what it was. It was the "your car warranty is about to expire" robo-call. I pressed 0 to speak with a representative so that I could ask that my # be removed from their phone list. The woman I spoke to said she removed it. We'll see about that.

I some kind of 3rd party warranty for cars. They have been harrassing me for weeks.

This was the fourth time I got the same call - an automated voice telling me "this is your second notice" that my vehicle warranty MAY be expiring soon. I always just hang up when I hear it starting.

Same thing about Samuel Parker. Says he's providing insurance for the uninsured and that I have been "pre-qualified" for a new nation wide health care program. I'm currently employed with one of the BEST insurances in the state right now so I don't know why he called. Also, my work phone number is unlisted since the only listed number for my company is the main work line. If this person calls you, ask them if they know who you are. I once told one of these guys my name was "Nunya Buziness" and they didn't second guess it, meaning they're just randomly calling people (sure sign of a scam). Reporting it will most likely do no good, so if you get a call from them just try to screw around with them for a while. Psychological torture and mind games are much more effective on these guys than a useless submission to the BBB or your phone company.
For a guide on how to play with them, look up "Tom Mabe" (www.tommabe.com) and find his audio clip on convincing a telemarketer that he's the suspected gay murdered of the man he just called. It's a start...

It's a woman's voice saying the warranty on my car has expired. Originally, she called my cell phone. The creepy thing is that they started calling my business phone a week after it got hooked up!
alientech 2009-05-07 19:37:56 Telemarketer
Yeah, Sam Parker calling my Sprint cell phone about $99/month for health insurance. He gave a different number to call back than what caller id showed. I wish I could reach out and strangle him.

Just received a call on my work phone (unlisted land line) from this number. Got the recorded message mentioned above regarding lapsing vehicle warranty. Pressed '1' to speak with a representative to lay in to; picked up, could hear call center noise in background, was hung up on after ~15 seconds of nothing.

I just received a voicemail from someone named Samuel Parker(?), calling about an alleged national healthcare plan, which is bogus. DO NOT ANSWER and DO NOT CALL HIM BACK. His outgoing message says he needs more info but I'm worried some people might provide this to him. I plan to report it to the FTC and my state attorney general's office. If you also receive this same call, please consider also reporting it.

Called Verizon Wireless alerting them of this growing problem!
Thinking of switching to a prepaid cell phone. Personally I
feel the cell phone companies are behind it. The more calls
that you receive the more minutes they eat up. Who benefits if
the minutes get eaten up.
Recently placed my cell phone on the government donotcall list.
