They keep calling me.

Even before I did searching online, I suspected Noel Daley & Associates were tied in with CollectCorp. as the envelope and paper the letter was written on was the same as documentation received from CollectCorp.  Though there is a Noel Daley and a David Kirshin registered with the Law Society of Upper Canada, neither belong to this Noel Daley & Associates (the legit Noel Daley registered is a criminal lawyer).  So it does not appear these 2 are licensed to practice law/act as a paralegal in this province.  Believe it's a ruse on the part of CollectCorp to scare people - bet you if CollectCorp sent same letter out on their letterhead with their address they'd be nailed with the body that governs collection agencies, so they think they get around it by sending out what appears to be an official letter from a lawyer.  If you run a whois search for their website, low and behold CollectCorp comes up as the owner of the domain!

Looks like they have a lawyer named Noel Daley working on their team, too.  Just checked the mail and have received what appears to be a standard form letter, hinting of course at legal action.  From my experience, when one receives a letter of the sort, it's pretty fair to say that they have no intent on taking the matter any further.

Collectcorp--a fairly deceitful collections company that will not honour it's promises to send any written documentation of your debt.
