I keep receiving Faxes from this number (1-800-815-8906)asking me to call back, fax back or call (1-888-215-9522) to remove fax number. They promise to cut my house payment in half. It’s a scam and I would like to know what can I do to stop this fraud. It seems that ultimately the Phone companies that allow this abuse to take place should be made liable.

received a junk fax from (not really sure the fax # it came from) to refinance and to fax back to 800-815-8906.  at the bottom it said to be removed to call 888-214-4322 which by the way is an invalid number.
I faxed back their junk fax and told them it is ILLEGAL to provide a bogus # for consumer's to call and get off their fax list, I wonder if the faxes are going to India or Nigera, and I hope I didn't start a major headache for myself by faxing back to them.

Received fax with the above number as the "fax back for enquiries" number, and 1-888-215-9522 as the "remove" number.

The remove number didn't work for me, as it said the number I was calling from was "restricted".

The fax says "CUT YOUR HOUSE PAYMENT IN HALF", much like the one listed above.

I have been getting faxed for health insurance, refinance, life insurance, etc. Get me off their list please.

If you google Hot Leads, Texas  news articles on them come up.
You can probably call them and let them know your opinion or I've been told calls to the 800 number cost the recipient 25 cents each.  Auto dial while watching football is easy!

f you want to get off their list, fax your fax number to 972-407-1808. If that doesn't work, contact the junkfax web site.

This is junk mail and fradulent. Stop it.

Press *57 after each call and after 6 or so times, go to your local police department and fill out a complaint.  The police department will contact the phone company and get the records and you can proceed with a lawsuit.

What I don't understand, is if there is no way to reach them, how can they do business?

New Refinance Program - been getting theses faxes for months.
Tried reverse lookup and 800 directory with no results.

We purchased (leased) this 888-215-9822 phone number a couple of months ago.  I am not sure who owned it before us, but they left this number on their fax as the number to call to be removed.  
We get a number of calls when they send all of their spam faxes.  We used this number in print and don't want to have to get rid of it.  Does anyone have information on the company such as a phone number to call or a web site to visit?  We want them to remove the incorrect number from their list.  
If I was getting spammed, I would fax back to the main number they list.

Same story as above. The remove number does nothing. Just some low life junk faxers. Scum likes this makes me sick. Hopefully the FCC will catch up to them.

I have been getting these faxes, i'm in Calif.  offer sounds too good to be true. I usually get them after business hours.  There is some life insurance company that also has my fax #. There is no company name just a clip art border fax requesting my name address and phone #.  My J2 fax says that the reference number for this fax is:  oak1_did11-1186450061  (the last part of the number was my own fax # with an 11 after it so I deleted it from this posting.  I wonder if they are tracking how many times they have faxed and its 11.

I am going to sue this company, did you get any contacts for them??

Receive same junk faxes entitled "New Refinance Program: Funds for this special Mortgage are Limited, Fax us back Today!" I call the number listed to delete the fax number, 888-215-9522, and am told by an electronic voice that it will attempt to send me a confirmation notice that my removal request has been accepted and AFTER that, I should receive no more faxes from them.  This is the third time I have tried to get our fax number removed from this database.  Still no confirmation fax...

Been getting phone calls all hours of the day for the last six months .No voice just beeps . Called phone company, they said it was a fax machine calling me . I got a fax machine and found out it was from 800-815-8906 ,no other info except a refinance scam and for me to fill out a form . Called  there 888-215- 9522 number to be removed from there system .
 Now getting calls from 800-915-1820 for health insurance ,same scam ,fill out form and send to them. Has the same delete fax number 800-915-1820.
 I am really sick of this , I am paying the phone company for an unlisted number and I am getting junk faxes .
