My wife let a friend make a call to an auto auction company on her phone. Since then this company has called with recorded messages four to five times a week.

Called me several times eventhough I told them not to. When I got hold of a live person to tell them again, the guy hung up on me.

My husband called a Nissan dealership about a car. Ever since then he has been getting calls from this number twice a day. I have entered his number on the Do Not Call list and they have 11 days until I file a complaint.

This caller is annoying! They keep calling me!!

Anyone who has recieved solicitations from the LA Auto Action without permission needs to log a complaint with the FTC here.

Me again.  It's a week later, and I'm still getting calls even though they said they took me off the list.  I called them again and requested to be taken off a second time, and got more recorded calls the next day.  Doe's anyone know a lawyer or a process to get these guys now?  I hear you're entittled to collect $5000 penaltty per call.  They owe me about 12K I think now and I'm ready to get started on that.

You originally get on the list by calling them.  I found the number I originally called, 800 923 8575.  Go to a pay phone and call this number.  A human will answer.  I told them I've been getting called by their machine, and they quickly offered to take me off the list and sounded anxious, like they've been getting in trouble a lot for it lately.  So hopefully I'm off the list now.

I get 3 or 4 calls weekly, often, from this company Los Angelesd Auto Auctiopn.  They're recorded calls.  There's no way to tell the b*****ds to stop calling me.  They use a variety of other numbers including 800-923-8736.  I'm  on a do not call list.  They claim in the reocrding - FALSELY - that they got permission from me.  I o belive they got my number when I mis-dialed one time and got their number.  I hung up promptly without talking to anyone but they'vbe behavedf sicne then as though they own me and my phone.  These creeps should be put out of business.
