Also got a call from Xentel....they asked for Mr. XXXXX...(I'm Ms. XXXXX)
so I'm like , can I help you...and the rude man on the other end of the phone says I need Mr. XXXXX.  And I said can I help you and he says well I don't know who you are so I can't talk to you.  I said where are you calling from?  And he said I need to talk to Mr. XXXXX.  Needless to say he never got to Mr.XXXXX but I'm sure he'll try again tomorrow.

There should be a law against these boiler room outfits!

This telejunker is Xentel DM - http://www.xentel.com/ - calling on behalf of numerous quasi-charitable organisations (1-800-835-3193 is their outbound number for their Mississauga Fire Fighters Association campaign).  Xentel is a for-profit corporation that exploits the loophole in the law that allows them to call "on behalf of" non-profit organisations.  It's common knowledge that Xentel donates barely 10-15% of their total campaign revenues to the non-profits they call "on behalf of".  Their main USA customers are the various Fraternal Order of Police lodges.

If you're local to 416/905, I suggest you call this person to complain, since he's the one who's hiring Xentel DM to harass everyone:

That number had called my house EIGHT times today.  As I picked up to say hello, it was silent and then the sounds of someone hanging up took place.
Why do they call and hang up so many times like that. It has gotten on my nerves all day, and if they call again I will lose my mind. Wasting my time.
