well..I hate so say it folks but in my case this was legitimate..it was for an old credit card that my husband thought he took care of but didn't. Give them a call and they will explain who the debit is for and will work with you to get it taken care of. They are indeed a Law Firm that specializes in debt collection...I did research on them.

Well if you do indeed work there..please tell them to call me back at the number I provided on their answering machine and to stop harrassing my ex father in law (I also provided that number). My current husband has no affiliation with my ex father in law and to call his place of business for him is ridiculous. Also I would like the names of your supervisors and their direct lines so that our local Sheriff can investigate them if this turns out to be a scam. If this is a legitimate law office then you wouldn't mind providing this info right?

Just recieved a call from my ex-father in law stating this place has been calling his business asking for my current husband. Weird to say the least since we now live 5 states away and have for years. I called the number and had to leave a message or call back during normal business hours (which they didn't provide on the recording) The message states that they are from Wood Law offices. I will continue to call this number until I speak to someone and get to the bottom of this. And then will come back and post my findings. Something tells me this is a scam.

What a bunch of L O S E R S ! I laugh at them all. They have the wrong number and I have told them that for the past 6 months. I know they *think* they have the right person but they need to get a clue that I am not Bob Lipshitz (or whoever). Now I just pretend to be who they are looking for and try to keep them on the phone as long as I can, that way it cuts down on the number of people they can annoy during the course of the day. Im sure you work there clowntard and also you are not really a lawers office. Also know the difference between a bill and a debt. Obviously a collection agency would handle bills only the OC would. A bill is an obligation that must be paid before an account closes. A debt is money you owe due to arrears after a closed account.
